Fall Booties (and the socks to wear with them!)
It’s bootie time! I have too many pairs and yet I NEED MORE! Here are some of my favorite fall booties built for style AND comfort! CLICK ON IMAGES FOR LINKS!
When I put the call out on Instagram for recommendations for no show socks for booties that don’t slip down your heel and make you writhe in uncomfortableness you guys really came through! These below were the most recommended (i.e repeated recs) from the dozens of messages I got! I’m psyched to try a bunch fo these!

Oh I would LOVE a post about how to wear booties. I feel so old and out of date when trying to figure it out and just give up- roll up the jean? Is a tuck ok? I’m guess no show socks since these are all short ….. do you style a bootie with a heel the same as a flat heel??? Please help!

Erin, here’s my fix…I just wear regular short socks and turn them down! >:)
Smartwool socks are worth every single penny. Invest in them! But air dry…no machine. They are slim /never bulky and great for traveling as they never get stinky!

I now have three pair of booties; black, brown and dark tan. I’ve been wearing mine with pants that meet the boot so I can wear regular socks with them. I do need to find low rise socks so I can style them with a gap.

I’ve been a huge fan of Banana Republic’s zero gravity denim the last few winters. They’re super stretchy, I love the dark blue-gray wash, and with a single, small cuff, they’re perfect for this short-legged 5’2 girl.
