Fashion Friday (on Wednesday!): Everlane August Looks

Hi everyone! I know it’s only Wednesday, but since I am taking the rest of the week off for my 40th birthday trip to Napa Valley I’m leaving you with a fashion post.  As you know, Everlane asked to partner with me this summer to share some of my favorite looks from their summer collections. Today is a good one- so many great finds- and as I’ve mentioned before, Everlane is SUCH a great company, you can read more about their ethically-minded approach to fashion here.

OUTFIT 1:

I love a good bodysuit for layering- especially with skirts! And this one has a great sleeve length, is NOT see through and actually fits my long torso (I’m in a size medium).  Paired with this super comfy button front skirt and denim jacket (which runs large- this is an XS) and these block heeled sandals it’s a great look for the office or anytime, really!

OUTFIT 2:

This dress is made of Everlane’s special Japanese GoWeave fabric, which is so cool to the touch so perfect for super hot days. I love the flattering wrap style and that no tricky undergarments are required.

OUTFIT 3:

I was on the fence about this top, but ended up loving it! It’s got this sculptural feel but is still super feminine. Paired with these straight cut white jeans (slightly off white so not BLINDING) and the their Day slides, which I now have in two colors because they feel like wearing slippers.

OUTFIT 4:

These pants are AWESOME- so great for work! Stretchy but thick material, flattering and the cutest kick at the bottom to keep them from feeling like leggings. And this sweater is the perfect summer top when it’s chilly (and will work seamlessly into my fall wardrobe). It runs small, I’m in a medium here. These sandals are so delicate but comfy and look great with dresses or pants.

(Hugs before leaving for camp– be still my heart)

SHOP THE POST:

I’ll be back posting Monday the 5th- tune in for ALLLLLLLLLL my thoughts about turning 40….

XO,
Erin
