I am so over the cold. Have I said that too many times on a Friday Fashion post? Maybe it’s because I want to light every sweater and pair of boots in my closet ON FIRE right now. I’m so sick of everything. I’m actually pondering doing a cut throat closet clean-out (like, a Marie Kondo-on-steriods kind of edit) before springtime and either having a big tag sale at my office to raise money for charity or something. What do you guys think?
Anyways, even though I know I wouldn’t be able to wear a lot of this until spring, I partnered with longtime EOS supporter Halsbrook for a post today in which I styled five springtime outfits that would make me very happy to wear. Classic, Audrey-Meets-Jackie- Meets-Kate Middleton kind of outfits, which is what I think if when I think of Halsbrook. Plus they are currently having their Friends & Family sale so everything is 20% off (except for those notated with a * which are part of their Essentials Collection)! So if you live in warmer climates, congrats to you for being smarter than me, and you can probably rock these right now! For those of us suffering in our dirty puffy coats and Uggs— there is hope. There is always hope.

Wear the LK dress to the MFA Summer Party: https://www.mfa.org/membership/museum-council/summer-party great event and a good excuse to dress up and support the arts!
Love these pics! Don’t get rid of any winter clothes yet! Next fall when you pull out your winter clothes divide them up, and hold back some sweaters in lighter colors in a box under your bed until March. You won’t have worn them all winter and won’t be sick of them.
I’m in the South and do the opposite. When September comes around I am so sick of all my summer clothes and just want to wear jeans and boots – but it’s too hot for that until late October. I’ve learned to stockpile summer-weight clothes in fall colors, and then pull them out when I want to feel fall-ish.
I do the same thing!! Getting ready to pull out my “early spring” stuff and I’ve already been wearing bright and pastel wools, etc. I’m in VA and it’s still 100 degrees until October, so I wear fall colored summer stuff in Sept-early Oct…..
I really do think Erin should move to VA – we still have snow in Winter, but the winters are much milder…and we’re much closer to Charleston…..
I do the exact same thing!!!
There’s just something about a simple striped tee. Love the red and white one you picked. Classic!
Oooo, pretty! I hear you about being sick of your clothes. I’ve been wearing elastic waist pants with either button front shirts or zip front sweaters since I fell down a flight of stairs a month ago. And I’ll be wearing them for at least another month.
A girl can dream.
Hi ERin Love it all. I prefer a classic/preppy style so I would wear any of these outfits. I have gone through two major closet purges recently and I was ruthless. I discovered Poshmark and have done very well there. I literally had to get rid of an entire wardrobe and start over due to weight loss. You can check out my closet on Poshmark @fiano to get an idea. Good luck with the purging.
I’m not a frequent comment-leaver, but I just bought the evening dress pictured. I wasn’t so sure when I got it out of the box, but it is lovely on. Very flattering, and you’ve just convinced me that I should wear my gold strappy sandals with it.
Yay for Fashion Friday! My fav post of the week. Hold onto your winter clothes for next fall and just order some fun new pieces for spring (or maybe that’s just me.)
Pretty! I think you should wait and see how you feel about those sweaters next fall. :-)
