Killer New Lighting!
When looking for lighting for clients I have my go-to sources: Circa, Arteriors and Hudson Valley for the middle ground client, Urban Electric, Currey & Co. and Vaughn for higher end ones and then PB, Wayfair and Shades of Light for more budget-conscious projects. I always skipped over Hinkley as I never saw anything that was my taste from them– until now. Holy moly- they have awesome new pieces with a really sleek modern-farmhouse / modern-traditional appeal. And in looking at their prices from retailers, they are a great price too. I rounded up my picks to share with you because I’m so digging these looks! :)

Timely post as I have been hunting for decorative lighting for my carriage house renovation all week. I had bookmarked that last sconce, coincidentally, but then ruled it out because it is to be installed in a built-in bed niche, and I was concerned about the glass shade accidentally being broken by someone in the bed. Anyone with thoughts on that as a potential safety concern?
Also, anyone with sources for single light pendant lights (12-15 inches wide) in a pewter or brushed nickel finish that can hang at least 72 inches long? I need it to hang from the flat top part of a vaulted ceiling over a very small round dining table, and it is HARD to find one that hangs that long. I ended up ordering something cheap to try but am not sold on it…

Love this — we moved into a house full of very ornate chandeliers that are not at all our style. Any recommendations on flush or semi-flush mounts? Especially for my kids’ rooms, something a bit more out of the line of fire is helpful!

Great post! We’re moving st the end of the month into a new build and I want to change some of the standard fixtures. Many of these could work!
