More Images that Did Not Make It Into the Book
You can’t print EVERY image you take in a book, so I thought today I’d quickly share some of the good ones that I still think are fabulous, but did not make the cut for the book for one reason or another! All by either Michael J. Lee or Sarah Winchester, who were just the BEST to work with.

Another bright, bold rom we did. A few cropped in shots of this room are in the book but this overall is really pretty.
A fireplace moment from that room- we lacquered these antique chairs the owner had in a bright blue and re-upholstered them in a tiny leopard velvet.
You can see the overall of this powder room in the book, but this cropped in image is SO great!

I have the book and I am really enjoying it. I love how personal you have made it. It makes relating to you and the decor so much easier and fun. Congrats on a job well done!
Love everything you do. Could you please let me know where I could find the lovely green floral fabric you have on your cushions on your personal sofa. My sofa is cream & I’m having a hard time finding just the right colour green to bring it to life. thank you.

I have to share that I am enjoying the book so much (and the extra images here). I did not pre-order the book this time mostly because having kids did not work out for us. I was not sure if it would be relevant or if it might add salt to wounds I’ve been working to hard to heal. As I saw some of the instagram shots, I decided I really wanted to check the book out and if it was not for me, that I would pass it along to a friend with kids. I am so glad that I ordered it. Many of the tips are relevantt to “fur” kids too and the images are all wonderful and full of inspiration for my own home. I hope that you are enjoying the tour and that the book is very successful. I also have to say kudos to you for including the work of other designers, espeically one that worked for you in the book. The world needs more of folks cheering one another on and celebrating the success of others.

Beautiful work! Question – how do you keep toddler hands off of the gallery wall on your staircase? I’d love to do something similar but I have two toddlers and worry that they’d either be chronically crooked or wind up crashing to the ground. Would command strips work? Thanks!
I hang the pictures with nails and then use a little of that Velcro like adhesive strips on the bottom of each from to keep it from going crooked.
