Fall Uniform with Saks!

It’s finally ACTUALLY chilly here which means 90% of the time I’m wearing my typical uniform of sweaters, boots and jeans. Every year I try to invest in a couple pairs of jeans and a few nicer sweaters that I know will last. Today I’ve partnered with Saks to bring you one staple outfit of my own, as well as a slew of other pairing ideas utilizing the more popular wide leg denim trend as well as my tried and true skinnies (also of note- a lot of items are 15% off right now too!)

This stretchy, soft sweater is such a staple and I am currently OBSESSED with Nili Lotan jeans. Yes, they are expensive, but holy SMOKES are they cut amazing ( I got the Joan style to try too and love them as well)! I like a slightly wider leg but not super wide, I need them with a long inseam (could easily be tailored without losing shape). Today this style I’m wearing is 15% off too!

A good neutral pointy toe boot is a MUST (and these Marc Fisher’s are the most often worn from my closet AND affordable), same for this fantastic suede belt with slim, feminine buckle.  Topping it off with classic (but current) huggie style hoops and a slim (faux) diamond tennis necklace and you’ve got a look that works for all ages and shapes.
