I had no idea until yesterday that one of my favorite spots in Maine, The White Barn Inn, has gotten a facelift thanks to the super-talented Jenny Wolf Interiors. I LOVE what she did with this historic inn, and am really impressed by how fresh and yet historically appropriate it feels. The last time we stayed here I had thought, man – this place needs a refresh – and here we have it!
This blue trim is just everything…
Love the combination on plaids and checks with florals.
Love the clean lines but antique details.
The bar in the famous (and very much incredible) restaurant on the property. Love the painted floor!
They also opened a sister eatery called The Little Barn. Jenny also designed it and it’s SO spot on.

I love these interiors. All the comfort without the kisch. Nice of you to give a shout out to another designer, Erin!
While planning our family trip to Kennebunkport next month, I got sidetracked and ended up in your Schumacher live— which took me to your Instagram and then to your blog (by way of One Kings Lane where I ordered a rug) and then to this post. I’ve just made a reservation at Little Barn. Back on track!
Jenny WOLF is an incredible designer. She also has a wonderful store in Bedford, NY called The Huntress. Definitely worth a trip.
Casual, eclectic, inviting. Thanks for sharing!
This is really gorgeous! Such a cosy, warm classic I could move right in. Let’s see more of this style! I can imagine a rainy day in that bar…
