Sweater tank // Skirt // Belt
I came across this small New York based brand, Charlotte Brody, last night and flipped for it. Not in a long time have I looked at a clothing brand’s site and loved almost everything and could picture myself wearing it. Simple, classic and timeless (and yes, quite expensive). Their approach is anti-fast fashion (which is truly so wasteful) and to create long-lasting pieces you can keep for a very long time. I love this approach and want to do more shopping with this mindset- less but better!
Patterned Skirt // Pleated Skirt
They also have a made to order line (how fancy) that is SO amazing too. I’ll take ALL THE THINGS PLZ!
Really lovely looking clothing. But, really, despite your disclaimer that their items are spendy, I think there should be a stamp applied to all these blogs/influencer websites…a “only for the 1 percenters”.
I see that you follow Alice Walk (alice_walk) on Instagram. She also does custom. I bought a beautiful top from her for the holidays. It was reasonably priced and the quality is amazing! I like the idea of buying fewer, high quality pieces.

Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful clothes and for calling out the issue of fast fashion. You have a huge platform and anything bloggers such as yourself can do to call attention is a huge help!
As for the model sizes, while I appreciate clothing lines such as Athleta and Everlane showcasing models of all sizes, I’m concerned that the trend towards acceptance of obesity is dangerous to the health of Americans.
really beautiful thanks for introducing me to this brand!
Thanks for sharing the new trends.
Love those silhouettes and patterns! I’ve reached out to see if they have a trunk show in my area. Thanks so much for sharing.
So expensive and they don’t even list what kind of fabric the items are made of. Saying dry clean, without mentioning the actual fabric is not useful to me. I wouldn’t be surprised that it’s polyester, as plenty of clothing places seem to think that it’s ok to charge such prices for polyester.
These items would have to be made out of truly top quality fabrics to even consider paying that amount.
I have always had lovely experiences with Charlotte Brody, at their trunkshow and the NYC store. My friend hosts the show outside of Boston twice a year. The clothes are even more beautiful in person, and If there is a trunkshow in your area, you must go!!!
These are lovely fashions, BUT…In this day and age, to show fashions on women that do not weigh 100lbs is not doing any service to the fashion industry or women in general. I know you are very thin, but the average woman 30 and older does not look like these models and does not wear a 0. Show beautiful fashions for the average woman. Lets see some 10, 12, 14 models.
These clothes come in sizes 10 and 12, FYI. One can appreciate clothes and fashion shown on a variety of body types. I love these designs and don’t control what models they use.
I know they will make any size 0-16+.
I think the same can be said for the price tags on these clothes. It is clear that Erin has come a long way since her early (prime) years of blogging and her recent Fashion Friday prices reflect that, too.
I called out specifically how expensive these are. Most fashion I share is a wide variety of prices, including very affordable. And that “prime” comment- come on. Rudeness is one thing I know is NOT fashionable not matter what.
Such a pretty line!!! I can totally see you in all of these outfits, Erin!
gorgeous, thank you for sharing, I’m going to take a peak, I love almost everything
I WANT IT ALL!!!
Classic chic!! franki
This is EXACTLY what I believe your collection would look like, if you designed clothes rather than homes.
Beautiful!
i went to a trunk show of theirs maybe 7 years ago. they could not have been more rude to me. it was the sign from pretty women, i was ready to spend. business lost
So disappointing to hear. I always feel that when someone (staff) is rude and I leave a store – then they believe they were right, I couldn’t afford to shop there – as I didn’t make any purchases. Hard to remind myself that it just does not matter what they think about me. Seems like Eleanor Roosevelt said it better.
