Before I sign off for a week (yes, I am finally taking a whole week off, like FOR REAL) I’m sharing some festive New Years look for those who have plans that extend beyond your couch (like me). I wanted to show some options with pants as well as dresses since I know plans can vary from dinner in with friends to a fancy shindig out on the town, and our continued supporter Halsbrook, was gracious to partner with us on this.
This Smythe blazer (a label favorites by Duchess Kate) is festive but doesn’t scream FESTIVE. I styled it here with a simple black camisole, jeans, heels and this amazing statement necklace. It would also look great with leather pants! Note: it runs really small, I’m in a 6 here and it is very fitted! I’d order two sizes up!
Another option that is fancier is this bright, happy Shoshanna dress. The fit is great and it’s something you can wear summer or winter.
I wore it with black heels and earrings (these are old Buablebar). I’d also top it with a black leather jacket since it’s chilly. The flounce at the bottom of the skirt is so cute and flattering.
Here are some other options that may interest you as well!

I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday and that you all enjoy a little “offline” time. I want to express my gratitude for all of you that continue to check in here and support my little business. It means the world to me and I am forever grateful to be able to do what I do everyday.
XO,
Erin

Happy Holidays – Happy 2019
Thanks for all the work you do on all the posts we read each year … and I’m looking forward to my (future) Christmas gift, EOS2 sometime next spring. And we appreciate Buddy the Elf and son dressing up for us in wonderful looks. I can’t even imagine the cuteness of Henry’s Christmas outfits (although nothing is cuter on a little kid than footie PJs but that’s just me).
Merry Christmas Erin! Thanks for another year of great style and inspiration!!!
