Fashion Friday: The Biggest Fall Trend So Far

As an interior designer, I’m pretty delighted at the bevy of jacquard and tapestry patterned finds popping up everywhere from Fendi to Walmart this fall. This trend is very much rooted in interiors, and reflects the way fashion and interior design often walk in lockstep. I rounded up some of the best pieces and then showed how to style them. I personally am not a fan of matching sets int his pattern, I think it can easily trend “vintage sofa” far too literally. I much prefer one piece as the statement or accent to a look.

The Finds (all linked HERE)

LOOK 1: I ordered these pants from Reformation (awaiting their arrival)- I picture them being perfect styled like this for our trip to England and Ireland.

LOOK 2: I cannot get over this rose suede dress (under $200)- of course it’s sold out already and on “pre-order” for a restock so I’ve signed up. I worry about sweat stains but at this price- might be worth the risk. These pink jacquard heels are the perfect compliment.

LOOK 3: Can you believe this skirt is Walmart? I can’t. Also available in a jacket too. It’s so close to the VB version and a great option if you aren’t sure about this trend. Paired with an oversize cashmere sweater and high suede boots its a great holiday dinner option.

LOOK 4: This vest has matching pants, but I love it paired with denim and ivory accents.

LOOK 5: This VB jacket has a removable collar so you can wear it collarless. SO good with jeans, a deep brown tee and boots. A hint of faux fur for the colder months too.
