I would love to give the second pair of earrings to my sister!
My good friend, who is about to become a grandmother!
I would give the 2nd pair to my mom :) She’s the greatest person I know.
so beautiful i love the earrings to
I would definately give the second pair to my mom, she devotes her free time by helping me take care of my kids when I work . She is just amazing and loving! Thank you !
I would give the earrings to my sister!
Omg am I too late?
These earrings are so beautiful and it would give me such great pleasure to give my 91-year-old amazing mother a pair. She’s my inspiration every day.
I would HAVE to keep a pair, since I am a Mom! Ha Ha But, I would give the second pair to my mother in law! She has always been so good to me and my children and she just lost her husband, my FIL 2 weeks ago. She also loves earrings! In fact, no matter what else I give her for holidays or birthdays, I always include a pair of earrings with her gifts!
Does anyone know when Erin is going to award the earrings to the lucky reader?
These are so gorgeous! I would give the other pair to my mom–she’d love them too!
My mom! She has been the biggest help with my first baby – who is one today!!! :)
I would be so thrilled to give the pair to my daughter in law. The love and care she shows everyday to my son and grandson can never be measured. She is beautiful inside and out and I am grateful for the joy she brings our family.
I would give the other pair to my very best friend, Jamie!
I would love to gift these to my mom for mother’s day! Super cute! And love all your inspiration ideas too!
I would give the second pair to my grannie. A marvellous down to earth woman who worked her whole life and still cant sit Long. she deserves some sparkle!
Is it too late? Mom gave dad her kidney so he could live a longer, healthier life! So not only did she give all of us life, she gave my dad life, too! I don’t know if it gets any more beautiful than that!
What a wonderful gift guide! I would gift the second pair to my grandmother who is truly a woman of strength. When my aunt unexpectedly passed away she took on the task of raising my two young cousins. I wouldn’t be who I am without her in my life. *fingers crossed*
Such great ideas, as always! I would gift the 2nd pair of earrings to my Nana who loves gardening and just had surgery.
They’re so beautiful, Erin. I’d give the second pair to my sister in law. She has six kids (omg), but has made a huge effort to love on my 17 month old (my first born). She actually made her a blanket covered in ladybugs, and everything she’s sent to my girl has been ladybug themed.
Also-that “I did my best” shirt. Need it!
I would keep a pair and give the other pair to my mom. She is the best person to give gifts to becasue she gets excited about everything!
I would give the second pair to my daughter. Without her I would never have known the joys of motherhood. She made my world complete.
Such great gift guides! I would give a second pair to my mother in law who has supported me so much during the past few weeks with our newborn!
Amazing! I would give the second pair to my MIL – she is an inspiration to all of her children and grandchildren – thoughtful and kind – positive and loving. She is 91 and still going strong.
I would give those lovely earrings to my sister in law. When my house was robbed and my jewelry stolen, she rushed over with a box full of hers for me to wear and enjoy. I’m blessed with a great sister in law.
Many great ideas. I would definitely share these with my daughter. Proud to be her mom.
So many good ideas here! Love the M Gemi flats and the India Hicks beach bag, and of course the earrings!
Such a lovely giveaway! I’d give a set to my mother who’s been so supportive to us over the past couple of years after the birth of our son. She’s flies in, cross-country ,to be with us for weeks on end helping out with anything we need like pickups and drop offs, helping getting dinner on the table, or even just helping us fold clean laundry. She’s been such a help and so invaluable for our 2-parent working family. It takes a village, right?
The other pair would go to my mother of course!
I would gift them to my aunt Grace she’s like a mom to me ❤️
I would give the extra pair to my beautiful daughter, who grew up in a room that always attracted ladybugs. Sweet memories!!
I love this gift guide and so appreciate the give away! Thank you so much for curating such an awesome collection of options for us! I’m having trouble accessing several links (they just go to google). I wonder if it’s just me or if the links are broken?
P.S. I’d give one set to a new mama who’s having her very first baby soon and one to my own mother who is recovering from a long bout with cancer and related health issues.
I would love to share a pair of these earrings with my amazing grandmother! A selfless & eternally positive woman who was widowed before she turned 30 and raised 3 children (including my own mom!) to be wonderful adults. She continues to put everyone else first and would never accept such an expensive gift (would instead tell me to save my money for my own children), but if I told her I won them I think she would be able to fully enjoy wearing them. She has been so inspiring & wonderful to me throughout my life – & even more so since I have become a mom, that it would be a gift to me to be able to give them to her. Plus the understated elegance is truly her style!
I would for sure give the second pair to my mom! I wouldn’t be anything I am today without her.
My two lovely granddaughters would each get one
I would give the second pair to my mom. Ever since I was a child, I have loved ladybugs, so my mom finds ladybug things sometimes and gives them to me. I would like to give her some ladybugs.
I would give the other pair to my sister, who is a great mother.
I was going to enter in your drawing but took a look at all those deserving women (written about above) and decided against it. IT DOES however renew my faith in the goodness of moms and women in general. I’m a non-working, married mom and spent the day with my sick son, running errands and catching up on e-mails. After cooking dinner all I could think was, “How do these working moms do it?!” My mom worked full time as a physicist and I never felt her stress or felt slighted in the least. How did she do that?! Amazing how we grow to admire and fully appreciate our moms more and more with age.
I would give away each pair, one to my mom and the other to my mother-in-law. They are the two most important women in my husband and I’s lives and we wouldn’t be who we are or where we are without them! The lady bugs would be a great gift to show how lucky we are to call them mom :)
Tried to click into several of the links (wine bottle labels, bamboo frames) and it just took me to Google. Am I the only one having issues? Would love the source for these!!!
me too! So confused
Ladybugs everywhere! Love them! These would be for my daughter-in-law, mom to my new granddaughter.
My mom is either Classic Style mom (personalized accessory case & that bag!) or Decor Loving mom (brass coasters, appetizer plates & pillows -so much for her to love here)!
I’d gift 1 pair to my sweetheart mom + 1 pair to my nieces. My mom is resourceful, funny and always thinking of us and how she can help us. My nieces make me want to be a MOM! They’re feisty, curious and the true joys of my existence. I’d love to gift them these!
easy — to my mom! what a special gift. love the gift guide too!
Hi Erin! My sister, Lizzy, and I (and our brother, Tripp) lost our mom to cancer in 2003. Ever since then we’ve believed that she comes back to see us from time to time in the form of a ladybug (we called her our “#1 lady” when we were growing up)… At my sister’s wedding four years ago, a ladybug alighted on her dress during the ceremony, and that sealed the tradition. In any event, I have been thinking about getting the two of us the lady bug pendants ever since I first saw them, and so here I am…
I’d give the 2nd pair to my wonderful sister
I would give them to my daughter. She is a great Mom to my grandbabies!
Not an original answer, but I’d give the second pair to my mom!
My sister, who I don’t get to see often. She lives in Belgium (I’m in Boston) and it’s her birthday on Wednesday!!!
I would give the other pair to my wonderful MOM :) <3
I would gift a pair to each of my daughters –young woman utterly different from each other but equally strong and committed to being good woman. And we all need a little luck at times and wings to fly!
I would give the second pair to my daughter.
I would definitely give the second pair to my Mom. She has been the best Mom-of 8!
Beautiful pieces. Would give the second pair to my sister.
OMG This is the best post ever! Thanks for the breakdown, gave me lots of good ideas for my mom (and myself)! Also, I need that new mom wine – GREAT find!
My husband and I just moved home to Boston after 8 years in DC. We’re job-hunting and apartment-hunting, but my mom has opened her home to us. I can’t say how grateful I am. These earrings would be a perfect thank you gift!
I would give the second pair to my Mum for always being there for me for all the sacrifices she made to ensure I had the best life. ❤️
I would give the other pair to Bonnie, a single mom friend of mine. She works full time, has a beautiful daughter with special needs , doesn’t want a pity party, a regular ‘ole party will do, and tackles life with a smile on her face :)
Great giveaway….would love to give the 2nd pair to my sweet mom!!! Happy Mother’s Day!!!
I’d give the second pair of earrings to my beautiful 24-year-old daughter — my only child — in honor of my mom, who passed 6 months ago after a courageous, 18-year battle with Alzheimer’s. We were so close, and she was such an important part of my family that my daughter’s drawings when was young always showed a family of four — me, my husband, daughter and mother. I never had to hire a babysitter — she was always there for us. Though her final years were especially challenging and often heartbreaking, I was honored to care for her with the same love and dedication she radiated throughout her time with us. I miss my lifelong friend every day.
So lovely! I would give the second pair to my oldest daughter whose style is “classic but with a pop”!
I would give these to The Sunshine Center in Montgomery ,Al. A shelter for abused women. Someone there would certainly appreciate them.
I would give the second pair to my BFF Beth. She is going Thur a difficult time. She just sold her house and moved in her father in law remodeled home . The home inspection won’t give her a Co and won’t inspect the house until she moves everything out including her family She is also a school librarian in NJ and her and other Librarian jobs are on the chopping block.
I know these earring won’t make her problems go away but I would hope it would put a smile on her face and heart.
I would give the second pair to my mother. As a mom of four she deserves a little indulgence :)
Have loved reading your blog for over a year now!
My mother would get the second pair for sure. She is retiring this June from a company she launched over 13 years ago and I know it will be hard for her to give it up. It’s been inspiring to watch her create this, but she’s traveled a ton so I’m looking forward spending more time with her! (She is also a huge ladybug fan :) )
My Mom, for sure!! Without her (and my Dad) I wouldn’t be where I am!
I would give the second pair to my mom. As a single/solo parent, I do not know how I would do it without her involvement. Raising a child entirely by yourself from birth can be a really scary thing!! And, no matter what time of day or night, she always takes my call (or comes over!) to help take away the panic of that unknown rash or scary croup cough. As a result, my 8 year old little boy has an amazing relationship with his grandparents. And I am grateful every single day for their support and unconditional love.
I would gift the second pair to my cousin, who has always been more like a big sister – not only is she an amazing mom to 2 beautiful kids and an example of the mom I strive to be, she also was a surrogate for a friend who could not get pregnant after cancer treatments and selflessly carried their baby.
I would give the beautiful lady bug earrings to my 24 year old daughter.
Love your style and those earrings!
How do you enter the giveaway?
I would give them to my sister.
I would gift the second pair to my sister, a hardworking single mom who always does her best.
I would give the second pair to my mom, who deserves all the luck in the world!
I would give a pair to each of my lovely, lucky ladybugs–my two grown daughters!
also. i’m obsessed with this roundup. i am all of the moms. i want everything. damn Erin!
whoa! that is a lot of contest entries!
i would give the second set of earrings to my daughter’s day care provider (and a mom of three herself). Liz is a god-send and has helped us through every stage of development so far. my daughter is now 2.5 and we’re moving overseas this summer- we will ALL be missing Liz in our new home.
To my own mum, whom I’ve always loved dearly but never as much as I do now that I am also a mum.
Great post Erin! The earrings are lovely, if I were the lucky lady to win them I’d give the second pair to my 14 year old daughter.
Beautiful earrings. I would give the second pair to my sister-in-law who is expecting her 5th baby this summer! She definitely deserves something nice.
Love the earrings – would love to share them with my daughter – I know she would treasure them. Thanks!
i love the earrings! i would give the 2nd pair to an amazing mom and old friend who is struggling financially and going through a tough divorce.
I would give them to my precious daughter.
The second pair would go to my mom. My Grammy (my mom’s mom) loved lady bugs. So they hold a special place in both of our hearts :)
Those earrings are ADORABLE!!! I would give a pair to my daughter since I call her my ladybug, and we can have matching jewelry!
I would give the second pair to my caregiver. As a single mom, she was my lifeline when I went back to work and had to leave my twins. I couldn’t have done it without it her. Having someone love your babies the way you do is extraordinary.
My mom!!!
These earrings are beautiful. I would love to have a pair for my daughter and a pair for me.
One pair of your sweet lucky ladybugs would go to my mom who very rarely treats herself yet is always treating others. The other pair would be for my sister-cousin who was mama to her younger sisters growing up and is now mama to two precious girls of her own. Both my mom and my cousin are incredibly generous women, so I’m sure I’d get to borrow either of theirs. :)
Thank you for the giveaway opportunity!
So beautiful. I would give a pair to my sister. She is a busy momma of 5 who never ever does anything for herself. For years she has asked her husband for nice jewelry pieces and for years… well lets just say she is still hoping. I know you said one for “me”, but I actually would give the other pair to my mom. I love jewelry, but I also love being able to give my mom things she can’t buy herself.
Oh they are so lovely. I would absolutely gift this to my mom. She would love the natural understated glamour of them. xo.
My own lovely mom, of course. She would love them.
I would give the second pair to my older sister, a single mom of 4 amazing kids! She doesn’t have time or money to treat herself so this would be the perfect gift for her!
What a special giveaway! I would give the second pair to my sweet mother-in-law, who is very kindly staying with my kids next weekend so my husband and I can attend my 25th college reunion (my mom is deceased). We are returning home on Mother’s Day, and these pretty earrings would be one heck of a great “thank you” to her for feeding, supervising, and driving my kids all over town all weekend!
Without a doubt the second pair would go to my own mom! Who couldn’t use more ladybugs in their life? Love these understated beauties!
So adorable! I would love wearing them and would give the other pair to my friend Jen who inspires me with her resilience.
I would love to gift a pair to my mom. She always says lady bugs are good luck!
I’d certainly give them to my amazing mother! She would love them
my mama ;)
I would give these to my sister! She kicks some serious tush as both a new mom and pediatric surgeon. She never treats herself to jewelry, and I think her patients would like to see her clad in some glam ladybugs. Also–her nickname for me is Bugs, and so these seem especially apropos!
I’d give them to my mama! Who works so hard but does not let us get her nice stuff like those beautiful earrings!
To my sister who is a great friend on the mom journey. (And My mom doesn’t have pierced ears)
Love the necklace – I would share with a good friend!
I would give them to my mom of course!
I love the earring set and think I would give a pair to my daughter and the second to my daughter-in-law!!
Hi! I would give the earrings to my big sister, Kristy. When I was little she was always the boss. Visiting my Mom’s house a few years ago up I found an old list of “club rules” that had been taped high up above the top shelf of my closet (our secret fort location). Kristy had written the rules and rule number one was “always do what the club leader says”….of course, she was the leader. Despite her being in charge I always thought she was the coolest. She’s only 2 years older than me but I’ve always thought of her as a “grown up”. Last year she talked me though my first marathon ever when I was starting to get misty eyed on mile 17 and thinking I couldn’t make it. She’s had her struggles with parenting and has had more thrown at her than the average person with a challenging son who she continues to love dearly. I admire her ability to move forward in life and to still manage to be there for me on top of everything.
Would definitely give the second pair to my mom. Love the earrings and this post!
I’d give them to my daughter!
Beautiful earrings! I would give them to my wonderful sister!
Love the earrings! I would give the second pair to my niece, who will be a new Mom in July.
I would give them to my daughter. She is a mom to 4. I marvel at what a wonderful , patient and loving mom she is to them. Even though shes my daughter I look up to her and learn what it is to truly be selfless and kind. Thankful and lucky she is mine.
I must have one of everything! But I think that about all of your posts! I would give the earrings to my sweet daughter because ladybugs are her totem, her spirit being, and she is dying to get her ears pierced. My aunt told her that her totem was a bumble bee, and why she identified with them. And my daughter immediately identified the ladybug as her totem and had a sweet story of why she identified with ladybugs, they float more than fly, they stick together, and they are ladylike. 💖 🐞
Love the MFlynn earrings!! I would give my mom the other pair, she lives in FL and I always love sending her little tokens that keep us connected, near or far :)
I’d give the second pair to my sister. She’s a new mom & like all moms, could use a little extra sparkle.
Love the earrings and the gift guide…I would give the second pair to my momma…the one who taught me to embrace being a working mom with grace and confidence. And who now has wholeheartedly embraced being a grand momma to my boy (who shared a due date with Henry!)
Love this gift guide! I’d give the second pair to my mom who has embraced the roll of “grandma” over the last 16-months!
I would give them to my best friend, who’s been there through thick and thin. Love the design!!!
I would give them to my mom – she’s doesn’t even own a diamond!
I would gift the second pair to my amazing daughter who just turned 25 and who I am inordinately proud of for being such a powerhouse and all around amazing woman!
Love the suede blue flats ❤️
Ladybug earrings for myself and the number one lady in my life–my mama!
I’d give the second pair to my best friend Diana :)
Second pair to my daughter,Addie!
I’d give these to my niece who is an awesome stepmom, yet gets brushed aside on Mother’s Day (yes, even in 2017!) because she didn’t give birth to her child.
I would give the second pair to my sweet mom!
Love this gift guide! Thank you Erin! Would give the second pair to my sweet daughter!
Would gift a pair to my sister–she just became a first time Mom!
I would gift these to my good friend, Angie. She’s a stellar woman and mother of 3 who’s always looking out for everyone around her, and who is coming up on the first Mother’s Day since she unexpectedly lost her own mom.
I would give second pair to my mom – she doesn’t often get jewelry and would love them.
LOVE the earings would be thrilled to give to my daughter who I cherish
Such great gift ideas! I would give the earrings to my mom. She is truly my best friend and role model and has always loved her family well and sacrificed so much for us!
I’d give them to my mother who has been through the ringer. Saw my dad through 8 years of leukemia, took care of her elderly mother in her home, and now my brother was diagnosed with a similar cancer. Not sure how she stays standing. I try to show her my appreciation every day, but Mother’s Day is a very special day for us. She’s an amazing person.
I would give a pair to my precious Mama. She hasn’t felt well lately and they would make her smile!
They’re beautiful! My mom!
Those earrings are so beautiful! I am about to be a second-time Mom in June so would love something so special for myself, and then would give the other pair to my Mom, who is a huge help with her grandchildren and is much deserving.
To my mom of course, who was a single mom, never complained, made time for my sister and I, made us feel loved everyday… and taught me nothing is more important than your family.
I would give them to my cousin, Janet, who has been like a mom to me ever since my own mom died 2.5 years ago. She’s currently helping me plan my wedding, and I would love to give her such a cool gift as a thank you!
Love the earrings. I would give my sister a pair. She sadly became a single mom in 2016 and I am amazed by her strength everyday.
I would give them to my mom. She has been through it all as my dad has Alzheimer’s. She could use something special as he’s been in ICU for a week with pneumonia and can’t be left alone. We have all been traveling in town to help take a shift but she’s really feeling the weight of it. Trying to stay happy and positive during these times takes someone special!
Such gorgeous earrings! I would definitely give the other pair to my mom. She loves lady bugs so it’d be perfect for her!!
And might I add you have some amazing readers! So many women here have gone through so much and I am sure all are putting on brave faces and powering through for the sake of their loved ones. I am in awe reading the other comments, I think I thought ‘she should get the earrings’ for each comment I read! Proud to be a mother, sister, daughter, woman! Keep running the world ladies!
I would give one pair to my mom (who I know would share with me) and the other to my mother in law. I don’t think I could survive motherhood without either of them! I am beyond lucky to have so much support close by. It truly takes a village!
I would give them to my momma!
I would give a pair to my mother. She has had a rough year with her own mother. She is a devoted daughter and grandmother to my children. Truly the most deserving woman I know.
Wow, these are beautiful! No hesitation here, I would give them to my sister. What a great excuse to have to visit her in SA and give them to her in person ;-)
I would gift the second to pair to my almost 11 year old, who made me a mother, and who had the most DISASTROUS experience getting her ears pierced at Claire’s (we rectified it at Chameleon piercing which was an amazing experience!) . Thanks!
I would gift the second pair to my sister. We each have three young kids and she is my go-to for love, support, and laughs as we navigate the crazy days of little kids. We lost our mom to breast cancer two years ago and we’ve both found that being a mom without your own mom is so incredibly hard. I would give anything to talk to my mom about everything happening in my life right now, to get her advice and opinions, and to hear her laugh at the crazy things her grandchildren do. My sister is the best gift my parents ever gave me and I would not have made it through the past two years without her.
I would give the lovely earrings to a friend of mine who was not fortunate enough to have children, but is one of the kindest, most compassionate and loving people I know. My own mother has 4 children and is a daily recipient of gifts of time and attention. Those who do not have children never have the unique connection that mothers have the natural ability to enjoy. She gives far more than she receives and there is no day set aside to recognize people like her.
I would give a pair to my sister. She is there for me whenever I need her despite working full-time and taking care of two little ones of her own.
I’d give them to my sister- mother of 3 that found out her husband is having an affair at work and leaving her weeks ago. She is a model mom and despite her world being turned upside down, has put on a brace face for her kids. I strive to be 1/2 the mom she is.
I would gift these cuties to my sister. I am recovering from brain surgery and my sister has been instrumental in my recovery. She is driving me to all doctor appointments, bringing me salads, encouraging me to sit in the sunshine, listening to me when it gets hard and reminding me how lucky I am to be alive. She deserves everything and I love her so.
These are beautiful! Would love for myself and my mom!
I would gift them to my mom. She is verry important to me
I would give them to my mom- no one in my life deserves them more than her
So beautiful. To my mom of course!
To my best friend who I need to call asap as it’s been waaaay too long. Love all these picks – making a decision and ordering something now!
I would give the second set to my mom. She has helped so much in taking care of my kids.
I would give them to my mother. She is a strong woman with an immense heart and dealing with my father’s Alzheimer’s disease alone and still makes time to come and help my family as well. She will even make the time to do things that are always incredibly selfless.
I would give these beautiful earrings to my mom who deserves everything and more. She’s my rock.
One pair for me and the other for your fabulous nanny Dee who deserves something special for putting so much love and energy into my special, adorable grandson.
I would give a pair to my mama. She deserves everything and more.
I would give one pair to my sister who acts as my mom . Great gift guide!
I’d love to have a set for myself and one for my sister. Our mother passed away 10 years ago and Mother’s Day filled with love as well as many memories for us.
I woud give a pair to my mom, who just lost her daughter, my younger sister to a sudden heart attack. She has shown remarkable grace and strength and I’d like to do something beautiful for her.
Love, love these earrings!! I would give them to my mother, who just turned 80 years old. She would love receiving these! And, it would be so nice to have something we could both have, and cherish!
The earrings would go to my BF Sarah. She is a great mom who needs to remember herself with a little decadence once in awhile. Don’t we all.
I would love to give these earings to my amazing mom. She has had a really difficult year and a special gift like this for Mothers Day would mean so much to her. Thank you!-Liz
These earrings will go to my new cousin-in-law, Susie. She is that inspirational person in your life. She takes on meaningful challenges, conquers them in a quiet way. Her actions inspire me everyday.
I would gift the ladybug earrings to my mom. She is and always has been an amazing support. After years of trying, my husband and I just had our first child on 3/25. The birth was unfortunately difficult and my recovery has been slow. My mom has been there every single day, nursing me back to health and providing a much needed extra pair of hands with a newborn. I don’t know how I would have ever been able to do it without her! As a mother now myself, I totally understand how you would do anything to help your child, just as my mom has done for me. To top it off, ladybugs happen to be a big symbol for me, we always seem to have them in our house and I consider them good luck. We used to call our daughter “lady” when I was pregnant, as in “ladybug”. I’d love to be able to gift my mom a beautiful pair of earrings that have so much meaning, and also have the other pair to hand down to my little lady one day when she’s old enough!
If they want them I would gift them to my little twin star and to my little sister :) Or one to each of my sisters.
The earrings would go to my mom, who is battling breast cancer for the second time in two years. Despite losing her hair again, she has never been more beautiful to us. She is a shining example of strength and grace to my two little girls.
I’m definitely a décor loving mom! I’d give a pair to my mom – who taught me about being a mom and who loves décor too!
I would give a pair to my sister, who is a tireless single mom and is my favorite person to spoil!
I would gift them to my mother, who never says no to babysitting and is always there to help with cooking, chauffeuring, and loving my kids.
I would love to give the earrings to my mother, Maria. She has been my stronger supporter while writing my book: she lived with us for almost a year, taking care of my two toddlers so that I could be in the library and finish my book project on Ancient Greek Tragedy. Whilst doing that, her mother passed away and never got the chance to say goodbye.
I would give the second pair to my sister. Our mom loved ladybugs and we always felt like they were our good luck charm.
I would have a hard time choosing between my momma and my mother in law. They both help me with my four young children tremendously with physical and mental support. They are sweet and kind and truly emulate what kind of momma I would like to be. Maybe I would end up choosing to give them each a pair with the promise they would let me borrow!! Happy Mothers Day!!
I would give one pair to my mom and one to my aunt.
I would love the ear rings for my daughter who is 27 now but had childhood non Hodgkin Lymphoma stage 3 B when she was 7 still has health issues from the chemo but she is such a wonderful child such a joy we love her so much.
Such beautiful earrings!!! I would give the other pair to my mom, who has helped me endlessly with my two little ones.
I would gift these lovelies to Lauren- she is my niece , like a sister to me and my best friend. She is also a loving mom to her three kids and so deserves a bit of luxury!
My bff, michelle!
I would gift the second pair to my sister who is an amazing mom!
Of course I would give the extra pair to my dear mom …she’s a beautiful example of grace and love.
I would gift them to my mom — my biggest cheerleader and encourager as a mother, wife, and friend.
I would definitely give the other pair to my mother. She so selflessly gives to us year round. Thanks so much.
My reproductive endocrinologist who is also a mom. Thanks to her, this Mother’s Day our family is complete with our second child. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be a mom.
I would give them to my mother. She had six kids and wore the same fake pearls most of my life. She would feel so glamorous!
I would gift the second pair to my friend Lori, who after years of trying, just had her first baby.
Mamaw would definitely get a pair of these beautiful ladybugs and my mom, Kathy, would get the other pair. I’m lucky that I come from a line of extraordinarily strong women. My grandmother, Mamaw, is 88 years old and happily brags that she is “basically 89”. Since I was little Mamaw has taught us that ladybugs are good luck. Every time I go home I leave little glass ladybugs around her house to remind her :)
i would save the second pair for my little girl because my mother doesn’t wear earrings :) thank you
I would give them to my mother and her sister, my aunt, the two beautiful women who mothered me.
Gorgeous earrings! I would gift a pair to my sister who is already a mother and will become a mother of 2 this June!
These earrings would just be the cream to my mother’s crop on Mother’s Day. They would be a perfect reminder of our passion for gardening. Happy Mothers Day!
These are so cute. I would gift these to my sister, one of the very best mothers I know.
My mom would get the second set. She would love them!
I would love to give a pair to my mom who has always been an inspiration to me & has been our third set of arms since having twins.
I would give them to my mom. :)
These are beautiful! I would love to give a pair of these earrings to my friend whose daughter just got diagnosed with autism. She is an amazing mom – loving, kind, and a true advocate for her children – and I know she could use something a little special this Mother’s Day.
Hi Erin! My nickname growing up was Ladybug (and I still get called that by my parents and family members), so I especially love the ladybugs in your collection! I have been so fortunate to have a close relationship with my mom. She encourages us to be kind, confident, and driven — but what I am most grateful for the way she loves us….well and hard and at all times. She is my true constant, and I would love for her to receive something beautiful she would treasure as a sweet representation of our relationship. Cheers to the mothers!
I would give the 2nd pair to my daughter, Evelyn, because her 2-year-old birthday theme last year was ladybug. I will wait to give them to her when she’s a little older and has pierced ears though. They are magnificent!
Definitely my mom! Amazing blog (that I read faithfully) and great giveaway!
I would give a pair to my mom. Over the last 18.5 months (with a short 3.5 month break), my mom has opened her home (and all of her baking and nightly cooking) to at least one of her adult children, that child’s spouse and their kids. In October 2015, my oldest brother and his wife moved in with two toddlers and moved out in June 2016 with two toddlers and a newborn! Three and half months later, my husband and I moved in one month before my daughter was born. We are moving out in two weeks (7.5 months!) but will also be back for 3 weeks in July (it’s complicated). And my two other brothers make random appearances as well (for anywhere between a weekend and a month or more). My mom has worked tirelessly, putting all of us above her own needs for the last year and a half (well, for the last 38 years since my oldest brother was born). If anyone deserves a little extra sparkle, it’s her!
Definitely my mom – best there ever was! ❤️
Thank you so much for offering such a lovely and generous giveaway. My MIL definitely needs some extra love and attention this Mother’s Day. She is currently recovering from a fall and hip surgery. :(
I would give them to my mom who has been taking care of my dad the past 2 years after he suffered a life-changing ruptured brain aneurysm. She has helped him improve so much (from being wheelchair bound to now almost independent with most things). Her strength during the past 2 years of hard times is truly inspiring.
My sister! After struggling with postpartum depression, she truly was my light at the end of the tunnel. She’s the best auntie to my little man, the best sister a girl could ask for!
I’d give them to my best friend, she’s an incredible mom and a rock for me!
Well, it’s pretttttty obvious – I would give the pair to my mom. My parents moved here as immigrants and my mom worked so so so hard to get us into summer camp, into a good school, all of it. Literally, cleaning other people’s homes to give us a better life. A pair of earrings won’t thank her enough, but I think they’d be a great start.
My single mom friend (since my mom doesn’t have pierced ears) that has been my bestie for 40+ years.
My little sister who lives in Asia. We don’t see each other as often as we’d like, but thank goodness for technology. She’s a wonderful sister, mom to her own little ones, and friend. Thank you so much for the giveaway opportunity!
My mom…who turns 88 this month!
I would give them to my mom! She’s an amazing woman who raised three girls on her own. She’s the strongest woman I know and she never does anything for herself. She’s strong, selfless and I would love to give her something special. She also has helped me a ton recently with my new 5 month old daughter!
I’d give them to my sister in law. She’s been a rock for me during my pregnancy!
My sister, who loves my daughter like one of her own, which has made me feel so happy and grateful!
My amazing grandmother!!
I would give them to my mama. She’s always there for me when I need her and she deserves a sparkley treat for all that she does! 💕
My grandmother!!
I would give them to my 82 year old Mother. She just had her ears pierced in the last few years and loves wearing sparkly earrings.
I would gift them to my BFF who is a considered a second mother to my two children She lights up so many lives .
I would gift them to my mom. I am (finally!) pregnant with her first grandbaby, which she has been waiting forever for (and she would be the first to tell you that)! I am so excited to become a mom, and just as excited to make her a grandmother!
Beautiful earrings! I would gift them to my best friend of 30 years, an amazing mom and true blue friend!
No question. I’d give my second pair to my mother-in-law. I grew up with four sisters, and never had an inside track on moms of boys. Now with two boys of my own (ages 3 and 1) and a husband that LITERALLY makes our crazy-toddler world function, I am so grateful every day for how my mother in law raised her sons. I hope I do half as good a job with mine!!
My sister who battled breast cancer this year while never missing a beat in taking care of her two beautiful boys, 1 and 3 years old. She is my super woman and her sons’ super mom. These earrings will compliment her youthful round face and renewed hair that is coming back strong like her!
Erin, I love that blue bowl at the bottom with the gold rim holding the jewelry!!! Where did you get this bowl? It’s beautiful!
I would give the pair to my Mom. She has been an amazing support system for me, especially now that I have two little ones of my own.
I’d give them to my friend and colleague Melissa. She’s one of the most generous and kind hearts I know, and since she’s been through an incredibly trying year filled with heartbreak and loss, she could use some lucky ladybugs.
I would give them to my sister. She has 3 beautiful children (aren’t they all) but 2 have very different but special needs, and she has her hands full all the time. She works full time and somehow keeps it all together. I’d love to give her a little sparkle to brighten her days. Thoughtful and generous giveaway!
my sister, who is an amazing mom
I’d give them to my sister! She’ll be a first time mom in June. After we both struggled with infertility, I had my daughter in October and now my girl will have a little boy cousin (who, incidentally, will be named Henry!)
Thanks for your generous giveaway!!
My mom for being my inspiration.
Dear Erin,
I absolutely adore your blog… in fact it’s the only one I check on a daily basis. I would give the earrings to my sister. We lost our mother in 2011 to cancer. It is heartbreaking to go about life without her. However, I feel fortunate to have my sister to lean on and reminisce about our mother with her. She is a guiding force in our lives and loved by our entire family.
I am not one of those women that seems “born ready” to become a mother; I used to literally squirm at pregnant women and I’ve never felt fully comfortable around young kids. Enter me, 7 months pregnant – I took the leap of faith towards motherhood for one reason only and that is my mom, Stephanie. If I can be half the mother to my future child that she’s been to my siblings and I, it will be worth it. She is and will always be my rock, and I her “mini-me” (as my siblings call me). Thank you mom for showing me how to live a crazy, passionate and fulfilling life juggling family and career.
I’d give them to my wonderful mother! (Also, love reading all of the comments about the wonderful women in everyone’s lives :))
Hi! Been enjoying your blog! I would give the earrings to my mom because I of course love her and she’s my hero, but they would simply look gorgeous on her!
I’d give a pair to my mom. We have similar taste in jewelry and I know she would LOVE them!
I would give to my mom. She is everything to our whole family. I am blessed to be her daughter.
I would gift the second pair to my sister-in-law, who is not only an amazing mom to her daughter, stepdaughter, and stepson, but has been an amazing aunt to my three sons and has been my strongest supporter during a particularly horrible year. We don’t live near each other — I’m in MN, and she’s in CA — but as busy as she is with her job and her charity commitments, she also literally checks on me every single day since my life was destroyed last July. I would not have survived had it not been for this strong, smart, supportive, caring, witty, wise woman.
I would love to give mine to my sister in laws mother. I love her so much and she’s just been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. But the coolest part is that people always give her lady bug themed gifts because her husband calls her that and my nickname in my family is bug. So it’s kind of perfect!
I would definitely gift the pair to my mom, Mary. She’s coming up to Boston in 2 weeks for my second baby’s birth. My mom is my friend, confidant, and totally deserving of these gorgeous earrings. Plus – she drives a red VW bug!
To my mom. She has given so much to me through the years. And even though our relationship has changed and evolved, always for the better, she has been there for me every step of the way. She deserves to wear something as beautiful as she is.
Love the earings! I would give a pair to my best friend – she’s a great and supportive mom to her special needs son.
I would give a pair to my daughter, who just had her first baby and has been struggling with post part um. She is finally coming out the other side and seeing the good in the whole motherhood scene.
I would give these earrings to my wonderful mother who raised me, my sister, and helped raise my sweet niece. She never buys anything for herself and works tirelessly for those around her. She deserves them!
So pretty! And thanks for his list! I would give a pair to my inspiring and selfless mother, who is in Haiti (again) right now helping provide medical relief to those in need.
To my sister-in-law who is an inspiration.
Love them to share!
I’d give one pair to my mom – she’s always doing things for others and never expects anything for herself. The other pair I’d give to a mom I’ve grown to know over the past 2 years. She lost one of her sons (a twin) to childhood cancer and has worked tirelessly to raise awareness about the lack of $$ going to fund research on childhood cancer. She deserves something pretty for herself as she is always giving to and thinking of others.
While I love my mom dearly, she has everything. So, I think I would give these to my best friend. She recently became a mom and is so wonderful at it. She rarely has money to treat herself to, well, anything so being able to give her something special would make her day. And she’s a nature lover so some adorable ladybug earrings would be perfect for her.
I would give them both away – one pair to my amazing, hardworking, selfless mother, and the other to my Aunt who wasn’t able to have children of her own but always treated me like a daughter. I give them both Mother’s Day cards each year – two amazing women who give all of themselves and inspire me to do the same :)
I’d give the second pair to my sister who has no children but has been a second mother to all of her nieces and nephews as well as their children. I couldn’t have raised mine without her. Additionally, she has acted as a mother, father, sister and friend to the students she has taught during the last 39 years at a private girls’ high school which will be closing st the end of 2018.
This would be a perfect gift to help her through this emotional and uncertain time.
I would give them to my best friend. She likes pretty thugs but doesn’t exactly have the kind of spouse who would get her something special. The man only does flashy.
I would share with my oldest sister. She mothered me when our mother wasn’t available and taught me how to mother as I watched her with her own children.
I would give my extra pair to my sister (my mom doesn’t wear pierced earrings!)
I’d give a pair to my mom of course!
My daughter!
I would give to my sweet sister. The best mama role model in the world to me.
I would give these to our daughter-in-law who has been through a lot. She has Lupus and had kidney failure during her pregnancy so 8 months after our granddaughter was born our son gave her one of his kidneys. What is so surprising is she was adopted from Korea and they were a match for a transplant. Our granddaughter was 2 lbs 14 oz at birth and is 9 yr old now and has Autism. Sammy is such a beautiful child and never ceases to amaze us and she loves little ladybugs!
I would give the ladybug earrings to my mom. She is the best support system I know and is willing to go to the ends of the earth to help me raise my boys and encourage me to start my own business. She works tirelessly as well at her own day job and carves out time to help me 2x days a week. I am forever grateful for her and celebrate her everyday.
My mom who selflessly moved countries to give her children a better life, unknowingly passed on a rare genetic disease to all five of us and who still exemplifies a life of service to all she meets.
My mom died almost 4 years ago so I’d give these to my wonderful but single mid-30s daughter. She hopes to adopt a child but is not a mom yet. Still, she’s a terrific and much loved daughter and I’d want her to have these as a pre-becoming a mom gift.
I would give the second pair to my mom, who is caring for my dad who suffers from dementia. She was a traditional 50s and 60s mom: never worked, always had a hot meal on the table when my dad got home, did all the household management. Now she has learned how to manage their finances, prepare their taxes and she has to care for her husband, my dad. She never really shops or does anything for herself anymore. Thanks for the opportunity, Erin, and Happy Mother’s Day to you and your mom!!
Awe, these are a flashback to my childhood. My mom just recently told my kiddos the story of when I drew on the wall in crayon at age 3 and when asked who did it I replied “the lady bug did it.” Wish I could pull that excuse off at work ha! I would love to gift these gems to my mom, the backbone of our family and fiercely dedicated to everyone’s happiness., truly my inspiration now that I’m a mother. Great post Erin!
I’d share these with my 12 yr old daughter who is my hero for enduring injections and finger pricks and all that comes along with being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes for the past three years…all while managing the “tween” years and every single hormone, mood swing, giggle, and tear that comes along with it!
I would give a pair to my mom friend C who I met when our babies were born 2 years ago. We have been through it all since those littles were born and this would be a great way to celebrate our mom ship
I would give these to my best friend Rachel and her 12 year old daughter Abby (she also has two boys and a sweet sweet husband) Rachel was diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer and stage 1 Breast Cancer last year in April and she has been a warrior with treatment – on May 10th (right before Mother’s Day) she will have completed her last treatment of radiation and will be in remission! Over the last year she has had such a tough journey (Nearly 30 rounds of Chemo, massive surgery, mascetomy and radiation and much much more) but she is coming out the other side, stronger and more beautiful. I truly hope I win them for her!
The second pair would go to my oldest daughter. Her nickname is “bug,” so these would be perfection!
My mom always called me bugsy and gave me ladybugs my whole childhood
I would give a pair to my sister who is the amazing mother of a brilliant 5 year old boy. She works her butt off everyday to be a successful career mom- battling the guilt and reaping the rewards. I admire her and aspire to be like her as I raise my own little one.
Judging by the fabulous photos of your mom’s garden, she’s the “garden and beach” mom … and i’d guess you’re the crazy busy but also the classic and the decor loving mom. How do you limit yourself to one category?
Always love a good gift idea post.
Like many others, I would give them to my mom… I was a nightmare from 16-20ish and once I actually grew up, had my own kids and some actual sense, I swore to myself I would make it up to her for the rest of my life!!! She loves ladybugs and always gifts me small trays, paperweights etc featuring ladybugs!
Last year my mom got me hilarious beetle earrings as a joke- but I love them. She would LOVE these, as would I. My mom for sure.
Great post Erin!!!
I would gift the second pair to one of my best friends – the one that I can call with my latest mom / work / working mom dilemmas, challenges and wins and she always answers (the actual phone, not just a text!) She deserves a special treat and these would be perfect!
So pretty! I’d love to gift this to my sister who is a new first time mommy!
I’d give the other pair to my long distance bestie, Besty. She’s a wonderful teacher and mom to two little boys and always makes me laugh.
My first born daughter (and my mother’s first grandchild) is nicknamed Ladybug so I would ADORE this gift to share with my mom. What a gorgeous set!
I would gift them to an incredible old friend, Betsy Eschelbacher. It’s been 18montha since she lost her husband and her children lost their father. She is now both mom and dad and deserves a little ladybug sparkle more than anyone I know.
These ladybug earrings are stunning. I would give a pair to my sister, who like our mother, has grown to be selfless, always putting her family first, maintaining her sanity with always remembering laughter is the best medicine in life. She emulates all that our mother was when we were growing up. She is, outside of our mother, the best example of a strong, kind, smart woman and mother I know. Not to mention her earlobes would shine as much as she does with these beauties! Thanks for making this possible!!
Love! Definitely my mom who is the kindest and most thoughtful person I know.
To my mom. She has had one of her most difficult years to date yet she continually focuses all of her energy on her four children. We’d all be lost without her!
The earrings are adorable and would look especially charming on my daughter-in-law who has become a first time mother and has made me a first time grandmother. We are all feeling blessed as we look forward to mothers day.
I would share a pair with my wonderful, selfless mother, who does not have the ability to treat herself to such a luxury, but selflessly gives her time, effort and joy and heart to helps others every day of her life.
My mom! She would ADORE them! 😍😍
These earrings are stunning! I would give a pair to my wonderful big sister who I will ALWAYS look up to!
Erin,
I would gift them to my mom, who is inarguably the kindest, hardest-working-though-never-complaining, most selfless person I know. She is much better a person than I could ever be.
PS – I love these gift guides!
xx,
Kristen
I would give the earrings to my boss and friend. She is going through a divorce and is an amazing mom to two little girls who she does everything for. She loves ladybugs and they are a sign of luck and hope to her. I would love to give a pair to her to brighten her day and something she can wear as a reminder of good things to come.
I would give the second pair to my older daughter – my first born who made me a mom. When my younger daughter is old enough not to lose them, I’d give my pair to her. And borrow them whenever I want!
Of course I’d give them to my
Mother: she is just the BEST. So glad my daughter gets to learn from her about loving others and staying true to yourself.
I would give the other pair to my Mom – she has always put us kids first no matter what and it would be so fun to get to spoil her :)
I would definitely give them to my Mom. I can’t do what I do without her support and love…
A pair for my friend Cam, a mom and cancer fighter, who is coincidentally married to a (different!) M. Flynn!
I would give a pair to my sister and keep one to myself…becoming moms together has been so special.
These gold studs are beautiful! I never thought I would say this because we didn’t always see eye-to-eye but I would LOVE to give a pair to my sister-in-law who is so deserving of something special. She tirelessly deals with meals for 3 young kids who were recently diagnosed with celiac disease as well as herself. As we know the gluten-free/organic food is not cheap. Money is already tight with her family and yet she will always slip money to my kids when we see them. She really is such a great aunt and just loves my kids like a mother. On top of it all she recently lost her diamond from her engagement ring and now just wears the diamond-less band with 4 prongs sticking out because it’s stuck on her finger! haha! She has a great sense of humor so she laughs about it but I would really love to surprise her with something special since she is someone who is constantly doing for others and always puts others first.
I’d give the second pair to my friend who just lost her mother, so I know mother’s day will be especially tough for her.
I would give the second pair to my mom.
I would give those beautiful earrings to my mom! She is a gardener and loves ladybugs so they would be perfect!
Great list! My mother has had a tough year, and always does more for others than for herself. Would love to give her an extra special gift. I have been able to see these in person in the store and they are so lovely!
My mom deserves the other pair!
I would give the adorable earrings to my own mom as a thank you for all of her support. I underwent a double mastectomy this year and my mom kept my life going- took me to appointments, helped with my 2 year old, made me smile. Lady bugs symbolize good luck and we could certainly use some of it!
Great post, and beautiful earrings! There are so many inspiring comments on here! I would gift the second pair to my MIL, who is an absolute treasure! My own mom passed away seven years ago, and my husbands mom is a very close second in my book for “most amazing moms”. Thanks for all of the wonderful ideas for gifting!!
As much as my amazing mother deserves a pair of the beautiful lady bug earrings, I would give the other pair to my best friend who has sadly experienced two miscarriages and is currently struggling to have a second baby and complete her family. These would bring a smile to her face during this difficult time ! She is a true example of a loving and selfless mother/wife/friend and deserves some extra love this Mother’s Day! She’s also a HUGE E.G. fan :)
I would give them to my mom, my greatest cheerleader .
What wonderful earrings! I would give the second pair to my SIL who I couldn’t live without!
I would give them to my daughter-in-law’s mother who with me, has had the pleasure of supporting and loving my son’s young family raise two beautiful children, through thick and thin.
I would give the second pair to my mom, she’s a true diamond! Plus they would look great on her as she’s fixing the fence line on the farm. Classy all the way!
I would give the second pair to my wonderful mom.
Though I always ooh and ahh over the whole collection myself, I am lucky enough to have had two wonderful, strong, loving women there for me throughout my life- my mom and Nana!
I would give the second pair to my mom, the strongest and most beautiful woman I know. Thanks!
If I were to win the giveaway I would gift the second pair to my dear friend, Kate. She and I entered into motherhood around the same time. She is always available to lend an ear or share some wine as we navigate this crazy journey.
I would give them to my best friend Luz. We have a 27 year friendship and have never lived near each other- she is in NYC. Ten years ago when I became vetry sick with necrotizing fasciitis, she visited me every weekend at B and W hospital for months. She kept me going when I had no going. All these years later, I have felt like I never thanked her appropriately for her unwavering support. She helped me live again.
I would give them to my mom because she is my best friend.
I would give them to my sister–a mother of 5 who amazes me with her ability to juggle it all and still laugh
I would gift the second pair to my mom, who has worked hard all her life. We did not have a lot growing up, and she isn’t someone who indulges or spends a lot of money on herself. These earrings would seriously knock her socks off! Love them!
I think I’d give them to my sister — she just had a baby this year, so it’s very appropriate.
Thank you for doing all of the hard work for me! So many great ideas. The earrings are beautiful. I would feel so blessed to win!!
These guides are so on the nose!! Love your taste in everything! I would share the second pair with my mom! As a new mom (my firstborn is one tomorrow! 😭) she has been a rock for me and deserves more thanks than I can muster!
My mom!
I would give them to my grandmother. She was recently widowed and is having a hard time. These earrings would bring a smile to her face!
I would give one to my mum who is 96 years young .She raised 6 girls alone and still lives on her own ,bikes every day ,plays cards ,and walks on the beach. She still brings light and love to all she touches and is a living embodiment of faith.
I love these earrings! I would give the second pair to my best friend:)
I would give the second pair to my dear friend who is trying really hard to get pregnant right now and could use a little luck and pick me up.
Love M.Flynn and all your gift guides. I would gift it to my 12 year old daughter. She would love them!!
I would gift to my wonderful mother who continues to help me build my own confidence as a mom!
Thanks for the great gift guide!
Love the lady bug earrings. I would happily gift them to my mom. As hard as is it to watch our babies grow up, its even harder to watch our moms grow old.
I would give the second pair to my dear friend who is a fantastic, hardworking single Mom – Stephanie!
To my mom!
I would give the extra pair to my sensitive, sentimental, never complaining, thoughtful, generous, and hilarious birthday twin: my mom.
I would gift these to my mom, so beautiful!
This is such a solid gift guide. I would totally give one pair to my mom and keep the other for myself!
My mum just became a grandmum so I think she deserves something special.
I would give the second pair to my mom, – she is going through a tough time right now and these earrings would certainly cheer her up.
I would give the second pair to any one of these more-deserving-than-I -commenters !
To my daughter who has taught me so much more than I ever taught her!
Would give them to my amazing mom!
One for me and one for my amazing mom!! They are beautiful!
I would give the second pair to my wonderful mother (and grandmother to my 2 children). She deserves something so amazing and special, which is the type of person she is. Happy (early) Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!
I would give the 2nd pair to my mom. She has been through the fire for years. She took care of my father as he was progressively failing for over 6 years until he eventually succumbed to lung cancer. He wanted to die at home and she sacrificed everything to ensure his sacred request. Immediately after, she took care of my dad’s mom everyday for 2 years until she passed away. One month later, she was diagnosed with cancer. She had symptoms all along but said nothing while she cared for everyone around her, including supporting me through a dreadful divorce. Her cancer has not returned. Every time I speak with her it is the greatest gift. I cannot imagine my life without this steel magnolia with the greatest of hearts. This post allows me to honor her and speak her name with such pride. May we all cherish every second we have with our mom and our children for it is an unbreakable bond that transcends space and time.
I would give the second pair to my best friend, who just welcomed a sweet baby boy on April 27. She’s the best momma already!
My mother in law because she’s been through a kidney transplant, lives in England (we’re in California), and raised the best husband I could ask for. She makes the time and way to come to us and always works to make that time memorable for her grandchildren. She also has great style and would look great in these.
My mother passed away almost four years ago, and I still can’t believe the world exists without her.
I would give them to my beautiful daughter who has made me so happy to be her mother!
Happy Mothers Day!
I would give the second pair to my mom. I’d love to see her face light up, as she’s going through a hard time.
Definitely a pair to my amazing mom, and probably the other one to my mother in law. It’s true–you don’t realize how much moms do until you become one yourself. Now that I’m a mama, I now appreciate what my amazing mom did and continues to do for me. My mother in law has also become a second mom to me and she also does so much for everyone else around her, including me and my littles.
My mom would love these earrings – such a great idea!
They are so fresh and pretty! I would wear mine proudly and give one pair to my sweet mama! Happy Mother’s Day, Erin!
I’d give the other pair to my sister.
My dear friend. After fertility struggles she’s finally a mom–our babies were born 8 weeks apart!
My sister. She has mothered our entire family this past year. She’s taken care of our brother, who sustained a life threatening head injury and spent months in the hospital and at home recovering. He lived with her for a few months, after the injury, while going through his divorce. My sister has been a rock for him as he rebuilds his life and for our parents who could’ve lost their son.
She also is a great mother to her two grown boys. She deserves something special this year. Love your blog! And all the cute pics of Henry on your Instagram!
Although I’m blessed with so many amazing women I my life—I’d have to give the pair to my Mom. I’m about to make her a grandmother for the first time in June so this would be so special. Love your round up
i would gift these to my sister and my sister-in-law. SIL is expecting their first, mama’s first Mother’s Day! And my sister has 2 adorable little girls and deserves a treat.
I would gift these to my sister, who is an extraordinary single mom! She earned them.
I would love to give a pair to my mom!
Lovely earrings perfect for my Mom……She has given both my sister and I diamond earrings yet has never had a pair for herself. What a great gift for her! Thanks for the fun giveaway, Erin! Excellent taste!
Mom, of course :)
I’d gift the second pair to my awesome older sister!
Beautiful earrings! I would gift these to my step mother in law! She is so kind to us, and always willing to help in anyway she can!
I would of course give these to my mom!! What a treat for us both!
I would definitely give the other pair to my amazingly generous mom who is now also an amazingly generous grandmother to my littles…even if she does sneak them more junky non-organic snacks/contraband than I ever got.
I’d give the 2nd pair to my sweet mother, soon to-be-first time grandmother. We will see which gets here first… grandbaby or Mother’s Day!
I’d give the other pair to my mom, of course! What a special treat to be able to give her!
My best friend, Cathy. We met in their kindergarten year and have been through most of motherhood together. Birthdays, Halloweens, Christmases, baseball/soccer, football games, theater productions, band practice, girlfriends, SATS, college admissions and job hunts. All the boys are now out of the house and gainfully employed! Looking forward to rocking the new batch of boys (undoubtedly MORE boys!!) You have so much to look forward to with Henry! Have fun!
To my mom, who has beat the trifecta of cancers – breast, colon & melanoma – with such strength that she has given my three sisters and myself a lifelong lesson in grace.
Would give them to my amazing Mom!
I would gift to my sister and best friend. Our mom has passed on and my sister is truly one of a kind. Don’t know what I’d do without her. I will be thanking my mom for giving me a big sister! Love your blog.
I love the symbolism of the lady bug and how it is known that you make a wish and it flies away to try to grant it. Having a grandmother around is a little like having that luck with you. I would give these to my mom since she is always helping me with my four kids and doing so much for them. She gifts us the gift of love and her devotion day in and out. She lost her mom this year and we were beyond lucky to have her for 100 years.
Sadly, my mother has Alzheimer’s disease and would not know the significance of such a lovely gift. That being the case, I would give the second pair to my amazing daughter, mother of my only granddaughter . The earrings would be passed to her on her wedding day. Such a generous offer, Erin!
I’d love to give the other pair to my darling sister who is an amazing mama. She has always been the best big sister and best example on how to juggle kids, working and keeping a good head on.
I would give them to my sister who took care of me and my two daughters while I was in treatment for breast cancer. Mary is my younger sister and best friend. She dropped everything without a second thought to live with us. We wouldn’t have been able to survive my 12 months of chemo, double mastectomy, radiation and then sepsis without her.
My sister who is about to have her first baby on Friday after struggling to conceive! Happy Mother’s Day, Erin!
I would give the other pair to a close friend. We lost our mothers too soon in the same year and have bonded over how hard that was. Neither of us has children, and Mother’s Day is very difficult for us with everyone blithely wishing us a happy mother’s day when neither of us can celebrate it anymore. I think we could both use some cheering up – these would do the trick. :)
I would give the second pair to my best-and-only niece Lilly, who is nicknamed Lilly-bug and loves all things ladybugs. She is the fiercest 7 and a half year old – and her mother Ashley would certainly appreciate the earrings until Lilly is old enough to wear them! :)
To my mom, who is my rock!
I’d give a pair to my Mom. If you’d asked any other year, she would always be the one I’d have chosen. It’s especially my answer now because she’s just been diagnosed with uterine cancer. She’s a great mom and we’re all a bit shell shocked. Some extra luck would definitely be appreciated!
I was just at M. Flynn last month admiring these earrings!
I would give these to my middle school English teacher. She has been through so much and is always there for her current (and former students). I’m now in my 30s and make sure to see her once a year. She has been a role model and support system for so many children.
I actually don’t have my ears pierced so I would give them to my 2 SILs who are both celebrating their 1st Mothers Day!
I would give a pair to my mom. She’s 78 years old, watches my kids ALLLL the time, and never buys anything for herself! My son is 13 and my daughter is 9, so watching them is no small feat.
My amazing momma
Undoubtedly, I would give these to my Mom. Three years ago, my husband and I conceived our son via IVF. It was our first attempt, but with only one egg to retrieve, things didn’t look promising. While most clinics would have cancelled our cycle, my Mom kept saying, “It only takes one.” Thanks to my Mom (and our doctor!), we took a leap. We wouldn’t have our happy little boy today without that sense of optimism and hope. When my son was born at 27 weeks and stayed in the NICU for a month, my Mom continued to be a source of support. She taught me to take one day at a time, be present and enjoy this chapter, and that sometimes good is good enough in my new role as a mother. From changing diapers to babysitting so we can enjoy a date night, my Mom would do anything to help us out and is the best Mom/Nana I know. As we try to give our son a sibling and have had a few failed IVF attempts, we could use a little extra good luck! I love what these beautiful ladybug earrings symbolize.
I’d give them to my mom. She deserves nice things.
I would give the second pair to my amazing mom!
my mom
Lovely idea for a giveaway! I would love to share with my sister-in-law, she does so much for our family . My mother passed several years ago or I’d share with her.
Thank you Erin I love your blog
to my dear mother! Until I became one, I truly never realized the utter strength and grace that being a mother required.
I LOVE the lady bugs and covet a pair, but actually might give both away bc I can’t decide between two special ladies. One pair to my mom, who seamlessly raised nine kids [while my dad was busy with his career] always with patience and never with alcohol or prescriptions (??? Baffles me every day!!) . The other to my best friend who is in Ankara Turkey, living as an expat w her husband and 3 kids, working with Syrian refugees in her spare time, and prepping for her husband to do a year long tour in Iraq, starting this summer. Both Mom and Jess are my good luck charms.
I would definitely give the second set to my mom. Since having my own kids two years ago, I realize how much she sacrificed for me. She’s never more than a phone call away and always willing to help when I feel overwhelmed. Her mother passed away a few weeks ago and I’d love to make her Mother’s Day extra special this year.
I would give one pair to my mom and the other to my mother-in-law, both incredible women who deserve something nice!
I love your gift guides! I’d give the second pair to my grandmother. She’s such a strong and beautiful woman who I look up to and strive to emulate.
Gorgeous! My mom because she deserves so much more than I’ll ever be able to give her.
My wish would be to give a pair to my sister who is always working hard to serve others. Our mother died last year, and I expect this mothers day will be a sad one for us.
Me and my mom, Duh!
I would give these to my daughter, who has gone by the nickname of “ladybug” for many years. Love these!
I would give a pair to my sister-in-law, who is about to become a mom!
Those earrings are so pretty! I would give the extra pair to my wonderful mom.
I would give them to my sis – the best mom I know!
I would give them to my best friend who balances it all!
I would give a pair to my sister, always working for others!
I would give them to my mother in law. Her current battle with cancer has brought us much closer, she would think these are adorable and would never ever splurge on herself . It would be such a treat.
I would give them to my sister who is trying so desperately to be a mother. Ladybuds are a sign of good luck. My wish and prayer for her is that these help to keep her strong and bring good vibes her way on a day that she wants to be a part of so desperately!
My hardworking beautiful bff
i’d gift one to my mom and the other to my daughter. they’re two peas in a pod, so this could be their modern day BFF set.
This would be a hard choice but I would give the earrings to my sister. She would never buy something like this for herself, and the other person I had in mind (my mom), already has lots of beautiful earrings!
My sister! For her first Mother’s Day as a new mom!
Unique and beautiful earrings. I’d give mine to the friend that never fails ,and I couldn’t help or give back when she couldn’t have a baby. Through the failures and the heartbreak she never wavered in her friendship or strength. Now , incredibly, a mama herself, these earrings would be a beautiful token of friendship and triumph. Thanks
I’d give them to my sister. She deserves them.
I’d give the second pair to my wonderful mother!
I would give the second pair to my sister. She is my best bud, my confidante, a fantastic momma and it just so wonderfully herself it’d be an honor and pleasure to spoil her with gems!
I would save both pairs for my two daughters – they are my ladybugs!!!
I would give the set to my Mother-in-Law, who has had a very special connection with Lady bugs my husband’s whole life.
I’d give the second pair to my bestie — an amazing mom and lover of lady bugs!
I would give them to my sister, who is always there supporting me and my two daughters. She is trying to become a mom now and these would be so fun to wear together with a cute summer outfit!
I would give the 2nd pair to my mama!
I would give the second pair to my sister, who is like a second mom to my boys!
(my eldest son loves ladybugs, couldn’t resist this…)
The earring are precious! I would gift the second pair to my sister. She is a fantastic aunt to my son and deserves these and more!!
Oh my goodness I would be so happy to give my best friend a pair of these earrings! And maybe I’d save the other pair to give to her daughter (thought it would be SO HARD to not hoard for myself). She has two littles under three and LOVES ladybugs. She actually started a blog that had ladybug in the title but then couldn’t find time to write since becoming a mom. She is SO busy and SO tired and having a little sparkly ladybug on her ear might just help her remember she is a special and unique woman on top of an amazing mom! I think little reminders of our pre-baby selves help us maintain some semblance of self and groundedness during the hectic new mom phase.
My SIL who is in love with ladybugs! She had 2 rough pregnancies after infertility and the ladybug was her special good luck symbol – reminded her of her grandmother watching out for her and her babies! She would find them all over her while pregnant- even in winter.
I would give them to my daughter. She’s my love bug. I may have to hold on to them for a few years until she is ready to not lose them!
I’d Gove one to my mum, my best friend, and the other pair to my best friend from college , a new mum herself.
I would give a pair to my oldest daughter. After receiving the devastating news that their baby would be born with a severe birth defect my beautiful daughter and her wonderful husband waited anxiously for their precious daughter’s birth, hoping and praying that she would survive. Our family was heartbroken when she passed away peacefully just a few short hours after her birth. Watching my daughter go through such a difficult journey has been hard for me as her mother, but it has also made me so proud of the grace and strength she has shown through it all. She has two little boys who love and adore their Mama and miss their baby sister too. I would love to be able to let my grandsons give them to her for Mother’s Day. I would give the other pair to my youngest daughter, who also has two little boys. My daughters are very close and this whole experience has brought not just them, but our already close family even closer. The ladybug is a sign of luck and we feel so lucky to have had our sweet baby, if only for a brief moment.
Lucky Ladybug earrings are exactly the right thing to cheer my Mother as she recovers from her surgery. She has consistently worn a pair of small diamond huggie earrings I gave her eons ago so she could put these into the rotation.
I would gift the second pair to my sister who is my go-to person for all parenting questions as I navigate being a new mom! She also introduced me to and loves your blog :)
I would keep a pair and give the other pair to my big sister. She’s been through a lot the last couple years has been a great role model to me on how to be a great mom to her 2 little ones.
I would gift the second pair to my best friend and my daughter’s godmother. My best friend just froze her eggs, and is so looking forward to becoming a mother when she finally meets the right person to marry and become a parent with. She is the most amazing godmother and friend and will be an incredible
Mother to her own babies. She had a bad reaction to the procedure and has had a hard recovery but would
Do it all over again to know she has the chance to become a mother Some day. I want to celebrate her now and keep her encouraged that she will find the right person and will become a mother, even if she does it on her own!
I would love to give a pair to my sister. She is a mother of two sweet girls with a third on the way. The most selfless mom. Great gift guide. Gave me some ideas for my hard to buy for mother in law
Would give to my two best friends – both new moms in the same week!
I would give one pair to my best friend. She is 30 with three kids all under the age of 5 and she rocks it. Always giving and never asking for anything in return. She deserves something special and nice.
I would give a pair to my surrogate mom who is so dear to me since my mother died a few years ago!
I’d be legit lost without my mom- she is my absolute everything! I knew she loved me more than anything, but now that I have two girls of my own I REALLY know the kind of love she has for me. I would love to give her just a tiny token of gratitude back :)
Great guides! I would give these to my closest friend Sarah, my ride or die, a tremendous friend, mother, human.
I’d give them to my older sister Ann – a mom of three boys who definitely deserves them!! Happy Mother’s Day, Erin!
Hands down my mom. She is my best friend and my role model. She has always been there for me and always puts her children first. I can’t imagine anyone more deserving than her.
My sister Beth who does it all.
I’d give them to my momma!!
What a fantastic guide for all the moms and moms in their heart! I call my sons ‘lovebug’ so these are perfect. Seems odd when a 5 year old and almost 2 year old answer in public when I say “bug”- but they know it’s their mom calling them. Not a wonderfully creative answer- but my mom deserves the second pair as she’s taught me how to be the mom I am today and I am eternally in love for such lessons.
One of my nearest and dearest friends of many years — she lost her Mom in 2006 and ladybugs have always been her symbol. Ladybugs pop up at random times in her life in the last 11 years when she needs to hear from her Mother the most – these would mean so much to her! <3
I would give the second pair to one of my best friends who just had her second daughter. She’s the best mom but kids are expensive and she doesn’t get to treat herself as much anymore. She deserves them – and they would look killer in her to boot ❤️
I would give the second pair to my own mother. We both love our stud earrings and don’t leave the house without them! Not to mention – my mom is pretty amazing, if I do say so myself. She has taught me what it means to be a wife and a mom and to handle it all with the upmost grace and ease. If I can be half the person she is – I would be set!
I would give the second pair to my mom- Growing up she and her 5 siblings all had animal nicknames/mascotts and hers was the ladybug. She’s been such an inspiration and rock in my life (also my daughter is starting the ladybug class in daycare tomorrow… bittersweet daycare!)
I would give the earrings to one of my very good friends who has toddler twins and just had another baby; she is amazing mother who needs something to make her feel like herself again.
My best friend Jo is the support friend every mom needs.
I would give the second pair to my mama– her nickname for me has been “Ladybug” since I was a little girl, and I know these earrings would mean the world to her.
I would give a pair to my daughter :)
I would give the second set to my friend, Pat Kennedy. Six years ago, she founded the Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank. In this short time, Pat and her volunteers have given more that two million diapers to babies and adults who need them. She is a selfless mom herself and deserves a treat!
My mom would absolutely deserve the second pair–she’s worked so hard this year to support our family through a lot of ups and downs and changes. She’s so giving of herself, but hardly ever treats herself to anything (even a manicure)! Plus, she’s the one who taught my brothers and I to value all those little ladybugs!
My Mother! xoxo
If I win, I would absolutely love to gift my daughter with the second pair of earrings. I know she would love them!
Your gift guides are amazing and so helpful. Thanks for putting them together for your readers.
I would give the other pair to my sister,
Ever since my mom passed away ,
Ladybugs are our thing , it seams like whenever I really need my mom, and miss her,
Which is is Always, a ladybug seems to appear, (even in the winter here in Wisconsin) I believe it’s a sign that my
Beautiful mother is still here watching over us.
Thank you 😇🐞
Love this post. And love the earrings. My mom has been absolutely unbelievable in helping me with our 3 kids (2 of them, under 2). She would definitely deserve a pair of these beauties:)
Hi Erin, thank you for the generous give away! I’d give away both pairs– a pair to my sweet mother and one to my grandmother (who turn 92 on May 10!) such special, strong ladies….the rocks of our family :)
As I write this I’m holding my new baby born at 6:05am today! What a great memento to celebrate the day! I would share with my sister who always deserves something sparkly 😊
i’d give them to my mama! we don’t get to match much anymore now that we’re both adults and stuff but this seems like an appropriate way to still match :)
Beautiful earrings. I would love to surprise my daughter with them. Our family lost our beloved son, her brother last year. She has suffered through this loss as well as with her own health issues. Your blog has been a welcome break of beauty and life for me. Thank you.
I love all of these gift guides! So much thought put into them! Of course the second pair would be for my 70-year old mother who has always put her children before herself. She is such a blessing to us and I would love to gift these to her on Mother’s Day!
My mama! She never does anything nice for herself, and only focuses on my two girls. :)
I would give the other pair to my best friend whose grandmother loved ladybugs.
The second pair goes to my mom, of course. The best chicken soup maker and banana bread maker I know…
I would absolutely give these adorable ladybugs to my mother! After losing her spouse and my Father last month, she deserves a little sweetness to cheer her up. She selflessly cared for my Father for 10 years while he battled cancer, and it would be so incredible to be able to do something special for her.
My mom and my bestie! Two great women!
I would give the other pair to my wonderful mom!
My sweet mom passed away from Alzheimer’s in April, so I would gift them to my stepmother. She doesn’t have biological children of her own, but she is an amazing caretaker to all of us and absolutely deserves some recognition!
I’d save a pair for my newborn daughter!
I would gift both pairs to my two daughters. I am lucky to have the privilege of being their mother.
My mother! She’s a rockstar mama!
I would give them to my daughter who is the light of my life. xo
I would give one to my co-worker and partner in crime. She does does so much for her two kids, her entire family…and ME. I am not sure what I would do without her. And she deserves these. And so much more.
I would give them to my sister since we no longer have a mom….
I would give them to my sister. Although, she has been unable to have any children of her own, she is a fantastic aunt!
Lynn
I would give the second pair of earrings to my mom because they are gorgeous, understated and classic – just like her!
My beautiful Mom!
I would love to gift these to my mom!!. She has just retired as a nurse after 30 years. She is my inspiration. After caring for her patients for so many years, I would love to be able to gift her with these beautiful earrings to show her how much I appreciate and love her. Xx
My mom-who is the most selfless, caring, kind and deserving person! She would LOVE these!
I would save them to give to my 3 year-old daughter when she’s older- they’re so beautiful and what a special heirloom to share with her when she’s old enough not to lose them!
My sister in law, she helped me so much in my early days with a newborn!
I’d give them to my mother — she would LOVE them! Such a lucky little surprise.
I would definitely give the second pair to my sweet mom! Thanks for the great opportunity!
Wow!! I would give a pair to my beautiful mum who is my hero..!
Thank you for a great giveaway!
I would gift the other pair to my daughter who is a new mom and who I discovered your big, Elements of Style from. She is a giving person with a kind heart who feels deeply for others. She works, is a new mom, and just began coaching a Girls on the Run program in a local town to empower girls with confidence and athletics. A deserving and loving person!
My mom, she’s had a really tough year, these would be such a great surprise!
Those lake pajamas are on my wish list! And those earrings are beautiful! I’d love to gift a pair to my mom, the most generous person I know!
I would give the pair to my mother, who still somehow manages to accomplish everything (and help everyone in her path) all the while being insanely busy!
I would definitely share with my mom. First, because she so deserves them. And second, because we both love to garden the lady bugs are so cute and appropriate.
I would give them to my mom! She is truly the most giving and selfless person I know…she deserves some beautiful bling so very much!
I would absolutely give a pair to my momma! Great idea for a giveaway!
My best friend is has three little ones!
I would gift the second pair to my mama who grew up on a farm with lots of lady bugs. We both love lady bugs, jewelry and each other :)
Such a fun giveaway! I would give the other pair to my daughter, who wears a pair of lady bug earrings every day. These would be a significant upgrade from the ladybug earrings she bought on Amazon. :-)
I love love love your earrings. My mom and I both love ladybugs but she doesn’t have pierced ears!! So I would give them to my sister, who is also an amazing mom to twin girls :)
I would share the other pair with one of my best girlfriends who just found out she’s pregnant!
What a generous thing you’re doing! I would give these to my mama. She is the sweetest, most tender-hearted woman, and has had the most unfortunate string of disasters befall her recently. This would really put a smile on her face!
My momma, of course!
Love this post! I would give the second pair to my mom, of course.
I would give the second pair to my sister, who served as a “mom” for me when I became a mother myself. She was by my side the whole time as I fell apart and came back together again!
Love this giveaway and post! Your gift recommendations are so on point. I would give a pair to my daughter who’s entering medical school this summer/fall. This would be a great gift to commemorate this major milestone in her life.
I would give a pair to my best friend who has one baby and one on the way. Since we live across the country from each other it would be a delightful reminder of our friendship when we wore them (especially since we notoriously accidentally dressed in matching clothes all the time in college)!
I would give the other pair to my mom, of course! We both love a little sparkle and these are even better — EOS approved :)
My mom, of course!!
She always gives my sisters and me matching jewelry for Christmas and doesn’t include herself…. would love to twin with her for a change!
Thank you for the chance to win these awesome earrings!
Such an exciting giveaway! The second pair would have to go to my mama- she would adore these!
I would give them to my sweet best friend, who works her butt off and s such a great mom.
I would definitely give the second pair to my mother, and we could wear them together on our planned mother-daughter trip we are taking later in the month. Ladybugs in Paris!
I would give a pair to my mama for sure. She raised two daughters as a single mom. And I’m proud of how selfless she was during that time. A true role model–and now she spoils my kids rotten. The best grandma they could hope for.
I’d give these to my mom and mother-in-law. Two amazing women! Thanks for this lovely giveaway.
They are so gorgeous! I’d give them to my amazing, selfless mother-in-law. And I wouldn’t have to feel guilty bc my mom doesn’t have pierced ears. Great giveaway!
I would give the other pair to my Mom – she would LOVE them, especially knowing I have a matching pair! xo
I would give a pair to a dear friend that is struggling with infertility. She puts forth an eternally brave and hopeful face, and has never once hesitated to joyfully celebrate the seemingly endless stream of babies blessing our group of friends.
She embodies grace and optimism, and I feel these lovely little ladybugs would be a simple reminder of the luck, protection, and love that is going to come her way at just the right time.
Plus, she has killer style, so I know she’d just love them! ;)
I’d give these to my incredible sis-in-law. Her baby was born at 26 weeks and she was in the hospital every single day, pumped religiously so there would be plenty of milk when the feeding tubes were removed and was just awe-inspiring in the face of really tough odds. Happily, I now have a beautiful niece who is as healthy and happy and perfect as can be – and I think that is in large part due to my sister in law’s unfailing resolve. AND – we call my niece Ladybug, because she used to curl up like a lady bug when she came home and she LOVES them.
I would give them to my sister in law….the sweetest, most deserving person. She lost her mom a few years ago- so mothers day is always hard on her. I love her to pieces.
I would give a pair to my mother and the other to my mother-in-law. They give so much that they deserve it more than keeping one for myself.
I would give the second pair to my daughter…and then we could have a little mother-daughter matching moment. Hard to pull off when your daughter is 19 – but jewelry always works!!
What an awesome gift round-up! I always have a hard time finding unique and thoughtful gifts for Mother’s Day. As for the amazing earring giveaway, I’m going to have to be totally traditional and say that I would give the additional pair to my mom. She is retiring next year, and as a single mom raising two kids on a teacher’s salary, she hasn’t bought many nice things for herself. I would love to surprise her with this beautiful gift this year both to celebrate this milestone in her life and to thank her for the many sacrifices she has endured to give my brother and I every opportunity she could. Fingers crossed!
Of course the other pair would go to my mom…the kindest, most unselfish, wisest women in the world.
I ‘d give both pairs away! To my mom and my college roommate
My mother-in-law, who is like a mother to me.
I would give the second pair to my identical twin sister. She had her first baby boy at the beginning of March, so this is her first Mother’s Day!
One for me and one for my mom!
I would give the second pair to my sister-in-law who, in many ways, has been like a mom, and my best friend. Besides, she appreciates all things fancy!
I would give them to my little sister- we’re both expecting girls this summer and that seems like a great way to celebrate :)
I’d give them to my sister-in-law because she’s amazing and because her mom passed away before she had a chance to tell her she was preggo with her first. I can’t imagine how hard it is for her to celebrate Mother’s Day – and every day, really – without her mom.
Of course I would gift the second pair to my mom!! Thanks for the giveaway.
Such a great list. I would give a pair to my mother so we could have the same earrings, these would be something she would never buy for herself.
I’m a new mother (one month in) and completely forgot that Mother’s Day now includes me! I’m so looking forward to celebrating with my little man.
My daughter, the reason I am a mom!
My daughter who adores you & your blog. She is marrying in Sept so it would be a great gift!
I would give them to mySIL, who is becoming a mommy this year!
I would love to give a pair to my sister. My sister has had a tough year with many obstacles, the most recent of which was her son being diagnosed with autism. My sister is always there for me and is the most amazing aunt to my children, so I would be so grateful if I was able to bestow a gift this beautiful on someone so deserving!
I would give a pair to my mom, who has taught me so much about being a mom myself!
I would give the second pair to my mom…after recently becoming a mom myself, I’m starting to realize just how much of herself she sacrificed to raise us!
I would give a pair to my mother currently undergoing chemo for breast cancer. Would be nice for her to have new sparkly earrings to wear since her ears are extra exposed now:) Perfect timing for mother’s day…
I love something from each mom post! I would gift one to me and one to my daughter who will be 10 this month. She is my mini me and my pride and joy. I am grateful for every day she still likes me and looks to me .) She asks to borrow my clothes when she gets older, tells me about her friends and is so truly kind, I could not be prouder.
Thanks Erin!
I would give them to my mother in law. They definitely look like her style (my mom is more of a hoop woman) and she’s been going through a tough time recently…
I would give a pair to my daughter as a keepsake. She would love them!
And my wonderful mother of course! :)
I’d gift them to my mom – she’s the most thoughtful, direct, intuitive and helpful mama around – her dream is to be able to snuggle preemie babies in the NICU as her volunteer job when she retires – and she’d be perfect at it!!
I have eyed these earrings and would give a pair to my mother in law who is going through chemo currently.
I would give the other pair to my sister because she is getting married this year!!
I would give the second pair of earrings to my mom, who is currently undergoing radiation for an aggressive melanoma. She is truly the most selfless person I know, who puts herself before anyone else. Even while battling cancer, she, along with my dad, has gladly babysat my two little boys more times than seems fair, all with a smile and wanting nothing in return. I will not ever be able to truly thanks her enough for all that she has sacrificed for me and my brother, and now also my own family. But I will keep trying!
My daughter is in a kindergarten class whose mascot is the Ladybugs. Both my son and daughter were in the class and benefitted tremendously from the teacher. I would love to gift their teacher ladybug earrings to show how thankful I am for her!
I would give the earrings to my beautiful and selfless mother who dedicated herself to raising eight children. She moved here when she was 19 from Germany without family. She has unbelievable strength and determination. Her honesty is a breath of fresh air and makes me want to be a better person. She lost my bother a few years back and says she has a permanent hole in her heart that can never be mended. I would love to give her these earrings to make her feel special and always loved by all her children.
I’d give them to my mom. She patiently waited 10 years before being able to adopt me. She is more than I could ever want in a mom. Positive, encouraging, hardworking, and thoughtful. She inspires me every day as I parent my two boys. Love her so much!
I adore those earrings. I would wear them and then share them with my daughter once she’s old enough. I would give the other pair to my dear friend who lost her mother a year ago, and mothers without her mother.
I am not particularly close with my own mom, which has always been a source of pain. But I am very fortunate to have a wonderful “stand in” mom to whom I have been close since I was 5 years old. She has been by my side for all of my most important moments (good and bad) and decisions. I would be honored to share these with her.
Your blog is the only one I follow consistently! Love your stories of Motherhood intersecting with design and career. The 2nd pair of earrings would go to my BFF, a woman who, after losing her husband to AML almost 3 years ago, continues to hold up the sky in her household as a single mom to 2 young boys while maintaining a high level career. I am amazed daily at her resilience and strength of mind and heart.
Definitely my mom! We have the same style in earrings so I know she’d love and appreciate it as much as I would :)
I would gift a pair to my mom. She has been unbelievably helpful since my son was born 14 months ago!! She deserves everything on your list!!
Would love to give these to my mom & keep the other pair. Twinning! :)
Thanks Erin!! Happy early Mother’s Day!!
1. Love those earrings, 2. I would gift the other pair to my mom. This woman is insane, in all the best ways. She had three kids (four if you include my dad, which she would) while working full-time and going to law school at night. Long story short, I just became an attorney and now I get to work alongside her everyday (which is so special). Throughout her entire life, my mom has never gotten herself anything fancy because she (still) gives everything to me and my brothers. The fanciest piece of jewelry she owns is some sterling silver piece that she got at some kiosk in the mall (she doesn’t even have a wedding band). So, I’m commenting because she and I start our very first trial together at the end of this month, and I would love if I could gift her a quality pair of earrings. Not to mention, I am so cheesy and I would love if we got to wear these matching earrings in our first trial together.
The second pair I would gift to my sweet mama friend. We had our first babies together and she’s having her second in the fall. I don’t think I would have survived the first year of motherhood without her! Thank god for good friends who support each other!
I’d give them to my mom. She hasn’t been in very good health over the past few years, and I think they’d be a lovely pick-me up! And I could share mine with my mini-me once she’s old enough :)
I would most certainly gift the second pair to my mom who has inspired me to be the mom I am today and is the greatest Grandma my son could ask for!
I wish my Mom was still alive to give those beautiful earrings to! Instead, I would give the pair to my sister in law, who works tirelessly at 2 jobs, and took care of my mother in law for 26 years.
I would love to give the other pair to my mom. She has been an incredible help for my family while I’m juggling being at work full time and being a mom to two beautiful girls. My mom rocks!
I would love to be able to give the second pair of earrings to my well deserved mother in law, who’s birthday falls the day before Mother’s Day. She’s a remarkable lady, greatly devoted to her family and to her kindergarten students. When our son unexpectedly had a heart defect that had to be operated at Boston Children’s soon after his birth, she came up from Delaware and helped us with collecting our things at our place and taking care of me postpartum while staying in the ICU ward. Ladybugs are especially meaningful to her, because of their connection to her own adored mother in law that has passed away.
As well as most of the ladies here, I would give the other pair to my Mother. She does more than I can ever repay her for, constant support and being the most wonderful Nonnie to my kids. Easy choice. But the first pair I would give to my daughter for her 8th birthday.
What beautiful earrings! I would give the other pair to my mom who is a jewelry lover and a mother and granny extraordinaire.
I would gift them to my stepmother who has been such a big huge influence on me and inspired my love of nature. I would then pass them on to my daughter one day (born on the same day as my stepmother) who now shares OUR love of nature.
Darling post. I would give the second pair to my daughter because she is who made me a mom. Being her mom has made me a better person. She has taught me more than I ever thought possible!
Great gift guide! I need that coffee mug and eye mask like now! My mom is such a great Gardner and would absolutely love those earrings.
Would love those! Would give the other pair to my mom!
I would give a pair to my amazing mother, who I appreciate even more after having my own child.
Adoooooore the ladybug earrings!!! They remind me of this scarab coat pin of my mother’s that I used to admire ;). My mom would love these earrings; we are both constantly search for the perfect stud earrings and these are both simple, classic, whimsical and sparkly! Lauve!!!!
Amazing giveaway! Would be so thrilled to win and give a pair to my wonderful mom. Thanks Erin!
I would give one pair to my Mother-in-law who recently had a double lung transplant and is having a difficult recovery. I would give the other pair to my Sister, who has a lot of stress in her life and suffers with anxiety as a result. I think these earrings would be a good reminder to both of them that they are strong and beautiful women and could serve as a talisman for both.
I would give the second pair of ladybug earrings to my daughter-in-law, because my own mother is deceased and also, I had two sons so I am happy to finally have a daughter!
I would gift to my mom Judy- she just finished chemo and is starting radiation the day after Mother’s Day. Since she lost her hair she’s embraced her baldness and has been rocking fabulous earrings and serious eye makeup- these would be perfect for her!
I would gift the earrings to my mom. She is the most kind, selfless, and giving person I have ever known in my life. She moved to the US with my father while three months pregnant, leaving her family and support system behind and without speaking a word of English in order to give us better opportunities than she or my father ever had. It would be a great privilege to be able to give such a beautiful pair of earrings to my mother to try to express to her just how much she means to me.
They are beautiful. I would give them to my Mom. She would love them.
I’d give a pair to my mom – she is a huge fan of M.Flynn!!!
I’d like to give a pair to my cousin who lost her mother, one of my amazing aunts, just after getting married (before having her first child). My Aunt “visits” the family in the form of a ladybug… not sure how that started but every important family event a lady bug has been present and we always know she is with us. She would be so proud of who my cousin has become.
Wishing all moms out there a wonderful day.
Without a doubt I would give the second set of earrings to one of my dearest friends and new mom Emily. She just became a mom a few weeks ago and because of serious complications had to spend the first 3 weeks as a mom sitting by her little one in the NICU at Beth Israel. She is incredibly strong and happy now everyone is healthy and home. I think a symbol of luck is just what this new mama needs!
A pair for me and a pair for my mom!
I would definitely give a pair to my amazing mom!
My mom totally deserves these.
What an amazing giveaway! I would give the other pair to my Mom, the most giving and kind woman I know.
One pair for me, and one pair for my daughter, who is only 3, but I would love to be able to give them to her when she gets her ears pierced as a young lady. It would be fantastic to have mother daughter matching earrings. I only JUST got my ears pierced at age 51, and still have my white gold studs in, so a lovely pair to wear every day to the office after the initial 6 weeks are over would be great. My mom never let me have my ears pierced, not were we close. I want to share more with my daughter.
A pair for me and a pair for my momma.
My oldest daughter’s nickname is lady bug, so although my mother is equally deserving, I would hold them to mark a special occasion a little later in life (she’s 9).
My sweet mom, who epitomizes selflessness and hard work. thanks for the giveaway!
The second pair I would give my mom, who as I have struggled with IVF for the last five years has been incredibly supportive though the process and dealt with my ups and downs. Next week I have a transfer scheduled and these beautiful earring may provide some distraction as I wait for the results.
What a great giveaway! I would give the second pair to my mama.
Beautiful earrings, my Mom would love them! She’s an amazing Mom and Grandmother!
I may give both pairs to my mom, so she has spares. Her parrot is always stealing her earrings off her ears, then dropping them somewhere unreachable.
Ahhh! So gorgeous! I would happily give to my sister, an AMAZING mama to our little birdie Mae
I would give the second pair to my dear mother. She is a brilliant, tireless mother of six(now all adult :) kids! She has never asked for much nor expected anything fancy . She is currently managing , barely daily life with my father in hospice care . The two of them were lovely gardeners in their more active days. Lady bugs are a symbol of good luck and these earrings are just delightful . It would be an honor to give her something this special from your designs !
Thanks for the chance !
Love the post!
The earrings and necklace are lovely and would gift the necklace to my mom who not only is a wonderful mother, and grandmother to two fantastic grandchildren but who also has many more “children” that she has cared for after 40 years as a special education teacher as well as the founder or “downstairs quilters” on the North Fork of Long Island. They make quilts for children fighting leukemia with all of their favorite things incorporated into the quilt. She has spent tireless hours taking care of those in need and NEVER has a down day, never complains and is always the Glass is half full kind of mom. Having my birthday fall on the 13th and Mother’s Day on the 14th this would be a fantastic gift to give to a fantastic mom, nana and teacher!! They don’t get much better than her!!!
One pair to my mom and one to my oldest daughter… she’s of the age where she would adore something special!!! Love them!
Oh my goodness I would LOVE to give a pair of those earrings to my mom. She’s a gardener and would adore the ladybugs :)
I would love to give a pair to my mom. She recently had a surgery that’s kept her off her normally very active feet. These earrings would definitely cheer her up!
I would give a pair to my Mom – her nickname is neenybug and the ladybug is her spirit animal :)
I will give a pair to my mom, who is visiting this year from India and I will be celebrating Mother’s Day with her after 17 years! She is just the bestest most special mom and grandma. She has recently started wearing only studs and this would be so pretty on her. I will give a second pair in fact to my lovely sister in law who is a first time mom and celebrating her first Mother’s Day ever! We get to love on our new darling nephew.
The second pair will be for my best friend who is about to move to France with her 4 kiddos for her husband’s job. Something chic that will remind her of me (and EOS which we both love!)
Love this post so much!! I would give a pair to my lovely momma to thank her for all she does for me and for my three baby boys!
First pair to my mom for sure! I’d give the second pair to my boyfriend to give to his mom for Mother’s Day – she would be shocked and it would make him look great! Thanks for an awesome giveaway!
I would definitely give the pair to my mom…in hopes of winning brownie points for years!!
My sister in law, who is pregnant!
I’d give them to my mom!
My Mom-not only has she always LOVED ladybugs, she is endlessly giving, loving (even loved me during the awful teenage years), and one of the strongest people I know. The older I get the more it seems that Mom really does know everything. She taught me and my brother to put others first and practice kindness in day to day life -even to those who are driving us up the wall! So many times I’ve heard her say “you know, maybe that person just got some bad news” . She just always looks for the best in others and treats them with love. As a nurse, she is endlessly giving of herself to her patients-she is the most compassionate people I know and my constant inspiration.
I would definitely gift these to my mother!
My mom passed away earlier this year, about a year after having a stroke and developing dementia. I would give the second pair to my sister who was her tireless caretaker and advocate. Thank you for the opportunity, they are beautiful!
I would give the earrings to my mom- I love how beautiful and simple they are, perfect for he. She deserves so much, and asks for so little! A little bling would be great for such a wonderful mom and grandma! We see her a lot less than we want to, so she would have a little reminder every time she wore them!
I would give the second pair to my bff who lost her mom last week.
I would give a pair to my step daughter, the woman who made me a mother.
My Mom of course, because she does everything for our family ecsp. now that I am expecting! :-)
I’d give them to my inspiring, adventurous Mom! She is the greatest example of a strong and capable woman and Grammy to my kids. As I get older our bond gets closer, so glad to have her in my life!!!
I would give the second pair to my Mom. I’m a mom to a 21 month old and a 6 week old, without my mother I would probably be in an insane asylum! Her love, advice, and help have gotten me through every day of my life; but once I became a mom myself my appreciation and understanding of her grew so much. She is the best!
I would definitely give a pair to my mom!!!
I would gift the second pair to my mom who is always there when I need a helping hand.
I would give the second pair to a lovely woman who is starting a non profit pediatric palliative care house called the ladybug house. She’s working a full-time job and trying to start this on the side with the rest of her energy as there are only two other pediatric palliative care homes in United States
These earrings are gorgeous! I would give a pair to my best friend who has been through so much, and is the strongest gal I know.
I’d give them to my mom, but also like the idea of giving them as heirlooms to my twin daughters when they get old enough.
I would give the second pair to my mother, who is my best friend and support system as I raise two little girls. She is a wonderful role model for all three of us!
They’re adorable, I would give a pair to my daughter!
I would give a pair to my mom. She just spent the past 3 weeks staying at my house to help us out before and after the birth of our second child. Don’t know what I would have done without her!
My mom would love these earrings!
oh def my mom!!
I would give the second pair to my sister, who is an amazing mother and happens to love ladybugs! Her nickname growing up was “the bug”! My mom doesn’t have pierced ears but we love her anyways!
I would give a pair to my best friend who sure could use a pick me up right about now. Thanks!
My mom looks after my 7 month old once a week while I work, and this would be a perfect gift to say “thank you.”
I would give them to my son’s girlfriend Sarah. She’s an amazing young woman, I’m hoping to be her mother-in-law one day.
My mom. She’s the light of my life.
I would give a pair to my mom as a first time grandmother to a new 3-month-old :) She is battling a painful case of the shingles so has to stay away from her granddaughter, and I would love to do something to make her feel special.
I would give a pair to an old friend who I don’t see enough but who deserves so much and who is a wonderful mother!
One pair for me and one pair to save for my daughter down the road!
I would give a pair to my mom. As the mother of four girls, she deserves something special for getting all of us through those tricky teenage years!
I would love to give a pair to my sweet Mom, who is so very thoughtful. Btw- Love. This. Post. My wishlist just grew exponentially.
A pair for my sister-wife Mel. 😂
My mom, Sandy, is an unbelievable wife, mother and friend. She took care of my dad during his 10 month fight against leukemia. Since his passing in March I have struggled to find a gift that is worthy of what I know my dad would have purchased for her 60th Birthday and Mothers Day, which is during the same week. These earrings are stunning, and something I wouldn’t be able to get her myself. I would love the opportunity to give her something so special, beautiful and symbolic of good luck, as I know this will be a hard Birthday and Mother’s Day for her. As for the second pair, I would love for you to give them to another person who you feel is worthy of such an amazing piece of jewelry.
My sister – she works her butt off and LOVES her jewelry.
I would give the second pair to my mom. She is such a selfless, giving woman. She was a stay at home mom for me and my siblings, and gave so much of herself for us. As a grandma, she is just as amazing. I would love to give her these studs as a reminder of how amazing she is and how much we appreciate everything she does for everyone around her!
I would give them to my daughter, who made me a mom! Twinsies :)
These earring are adorable! I’d give them to my best friend, who is like a second mom to my crazy kids! :)
The earrings are beautiful! I would give the second pair to my mom for Mother’s Day. Being a single mom, she is always on and does so much for my sister and I.
Your gift guides are my favorite! As always, this one is perfect. The earrings are beautiful! I would give them to my mom-could not do motherhood without her! Xo
Love to give a pair to my mother in law. :D (My mom doesn’t have pierced ears!)
I would obviously give a pair to my mom, who taught me that leaving the house without earrings is akin to walking out naked (and who only wears cute/classic studs!).
Thanks for an awesome round-up!
I would give a pair to my sister in memory of our Mom and best friend.
My mom and she is everything I aspire to be!
I would give a pair to my neighbor who recently lost her daughter 24 yr old daughter – a little something to make her day brighter.
Thank you for this post and this amazing giveaway! I’ll just forward this link to my husband now :)
I would love to gift my mom a pair of this earrings, she has kept me sane through the first 7 months of my sons life and has traveled 2,000 miles once a month so that she doesn’t miss a thing in his life!
I would give these happy earrings to my sister-in-law, who endured infertility and is now a single mom of an adopted son. She is a beloved high school teacher, an awesome mom, and a great daughter to her mom, who is suffering from Alzheimers. All while maintaining a great sense of humor too!!
I’d give them to my best friend who is a fantastic mother of two!
Thanks for the gift guides! I would give the extra pair to my mom! Such a sweet giveaway.
I would give a pair to my mom and a pair to my mother in law – they are both amazing and supportive in their own special ways!
I would gift a pair to my sister. Although she has not kids of her own, she is more than an Aunt to my two girls. She deserves diamonds at minimum, the moon if I could:)
I would give a pair to each of my amazing teen-age daughters (16 & 13) because they have taught me what being a mom feels like. And being their mom has made me feel proud, admiring, amused, obsessed, overwhelmed, euphoric and LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY. These girls are solid gold with lots of sparkle (just like the earrings) — they’d have to save them for special occasions though, because those are some pretty fine earrings (just like the girls).
My mom would love these! They are so lovely! Thanks so much for the chance!
My mom of course :)
I would give the other pair to my sister! She is a working mom (like me) and little details (like lovely little ladybug earrings!) would absolutely make both of our days :-)
I would definitely give a pair to my sister. She’s a mother of four and never treats herself to anything! She certainly deserves to be spoiled :)
I would gift these earrings to my best friend Ursula. She is such a great mom but she lost her mom when she was 3! She is so kind giving and selfless!
Love the earrings and would definitely share them with my mom!
I would give my second pair to my beloved grandmother, the style icon of our family.
I would give the second pair to my mom! Would love for us to be matching in these!
I would love to give a pair of your earrings to my mom this year. I’m expecting my first baby in 2 months, my mom’s first grandchild (!), and she has helped me so, so much throughout my pregnancy. She has been giving me advice, taking frantic midnight phone calls when I’ve had complications while my husband is away, buying essentials for the baby so we don’t have to, and is going above and beyond to host a shower. I’m in my 30’s and have been married since I was in my 20s, so this is a long awaited first grandchild. I think the best part of the whole process has been renewing our mother/daughter bond. We live in different states, life is busy, and I haven’t visited my parents as much as I should have in the past few years. Pregnancy has bought us closer again and has helped strengthen our relationship. I would love to be able to give her a beautiful gift on Mother’s Day as a way to show my gratitude and sincere appreciation for all that she has done and continues to do for me. She’s everything :)
I would gift a pair to my mom for everything she has done for me. She is amazing!
Would love to give a pair to my mom! So cute.
I would share those gorgeous earrings with my sister – who has mothered me through thick and thin! I’d be lost without her. Pick me so I can give her one hell of a Mother’s Day gift!
i would give one pair to my mom and one pair to my mother-in-law – both wonderful mothers who deserve a special treat!
I’d gift mine to my best friend who is pregnant with her second and having a really hard time (vomiting, bed rest, constant fetal monitoring) and would love something like this to brighten her day.
My mom. She’s simply the best.
I would give pair #2 to my amazing mom!
I would give the earrings to my long distance best friend – we always like to have matching things to remind us of each other :)
Love the gift guides!! I would gift a pair of the earrings to my best friend who is an amazing & inspiring Mom of 3 and the other pair to my mom who has been so helpful & wonderful since I’ve had my son. They both deserve these more than me!
I would give a pair to my sister!
The earrings are beautiful! As much as I know my mom would love them, I’d really love to give them to my daughter, Abby, as a keepsake gift. She’s only 5 now but I already have a special pair of earrings to give her: they were a gift to me from my husband when I graduated school and I wore them on my wedding day–I plan on giving them to her when she graduates college. But if I could also give these great earrings to Abby then she and I would have a matching set. Thank you!!
Love those earrings. I’d give the extra pair to my good friend who is pregnant with her first.
I would give the earrings to my mother-in-law who is the BEST! I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have her as one of my best friends.
I would give these to my sister-in-law, one of the best mom’s I know!
I would give them to my sister. She is a wonderful mom and deserves a reminder of that.
I would give them to my daughter – she’s all grown up now but I always called her my little lady bug when she was little and since then they’ve become kind of her signature. Thank you!
I always love your gift guides!
I wish I could give a pair to every woman that has influenced me, but most likely I would give the other pair to my mom.
While my mom is definitely a candidate for the earrings, I would give them to my sister who is in the throes of raising two kids right now! Also, that “I Did My Best” tshirt is motherhood all wrapped up in four words.
I love ladybugs, they are good luck! I would give the second pair to my little ladybug, my daughter Vivienne. She just released 1,500 ladybugs into the garden this past weekend…coincidence? Happy early Mothers Day!
I would give a pair to my mother…I would not be a mother without her!
I would gift a pair to my Mom who was recently widowed to cancer and is working hard to finish raising myself and my brothers on her own…and I would gift the other pair to my best friend who is a new mom, whose own mother and grandmother are both unfortunately battling cancer as well. I really think this beautiful piece would truly bring a smile (and some sparkle) to their lives, when not everything has been coming up roses recently!
Amazing roundup and giveaway! I would love to gift these earrings to my mom of course!
My mom, of course!
I would also gift a pair to my mamma, she kind, giving and the rock in our family! She always takes good care of us and her grand babes. I’m lucky to have her and know she’d be thrilled to have some extra bling to pass down some day! Good luck ladies!
These are adorable! Not sure if my mom would wear these — so I would give them to my sister — also a great mom!
So pretty! I would give them to my mom!
For all my mom’s selfless giving and very simple way of dressing, I think these would be a perfect for her. I would then gift the other pair to a sweet thoughtful lady that I work with that always thinks of others before herself!
I’d give the earrings to my sister, the hardest working mom I know!
I would give a pair to my mom. On my wedding day I woke up to my parents screened in porch ceiling completely covered in ladybugs. My mom brought me out to see and said it was good luck. I will be married 19 years in Sept!
I am so lucky to have my mom in my life and would be thrilled to give her a pair. I would love to keep a pair for myself but would probably want my grandma to have them. I think you only realize how much a mom does after you become one yourself. WHOA. Gratitude.
I would definitely give them to my mom! They look exactly like something she would wear to work!
Who else but my mom? She’s the best and deserves a treat!
That did my best tee is amazing. I would totally gift those earrings to my mama!
