Welcome to the new Elements of Style blog!!! I am so excited to have completed this makeover, allowing for my blog to coordinate with my design firm site and also offer more great features and better organization throughout! A big thanks to Hanna Seabrook of Gadabout Creative for working on both these sites and making them beautiful! I mean, I love my matching little monogram logos! :)
Some of the new features include streamlined categorization, a new group of “Series” posts we’ll be doing, an awesome shop, where you can see and shop all my favorites and my product lines and better access to our work and my team. We also will be sharing new work soon, which is exciting after many years of saving it all for books!
To celebrate (and re-launch our subscription since the old subscriptions have been scrubbed), we’ve partnered with Momeni to give away an 8′ x 10′ rug of your choice from my collection if you sign up for updates from us here! All you have to do is subscribe and we’ll pick a winner next Monday! You pick from any rug in my collection (except the Richmond, which is sold out right now). Also, we are launching a couple new ones next month you can pick from too- a new red color way of the Billings and this AWESOME broken stripe pattern in grey and blue colorways!
Let me know what you guys think of the new format and enter to win your rug and share with others to get them following along too! Thanks everyone!
congratulations! Looks wonderful. I’m wondering if it’s possible to remove or minimize the “pin this photo” stamp on each picture in your portfolio. I found it kept me from getting a complete and fully satisfying view of each great shot. A romantic couple & lovely wedding.
I am working with Medical marijuana Patient team which provide Medical marijuana card Sarasota online for their patient.
Sincerely,
The new site design looks great! I know from experience how much effort goes into it, so appreciate all of the work. Like others mentioned, the commenting UX isn’t great, and I miss the ability to click to view the next or previous posts.
P.S. On Mac Safari, I see two blank boxes below the comment box, but no labels…apparently for name and email?
I wish i had an eye for design like u! Well, i do vision it, but when i go to actually put things together….they dontt come out quite as i visioned or as good as a designer, like u, could do…..
I have been away from tthe blog scene since last fall but have been checking in kn my faves, i think it looks great! Crisp and clean, modern. And tthe rugs are awesome! That grey one would really liven my living room upand we have really been wanting and needing a new rug! Subscribed, [email protected]
I love the new site its very chic!! I know its a labor of love but it looks incredible!
I subscribe! Thanks!
The new site design is fresh yet timeless, very much in line with your design work. I do agree with others about the font size, its tiny! No matter what device I’m reading it on my iPhone, laptop or ipad its challenging to read due to the size, any chance you can have it enlarged? Love your work!
Love the new web site and the monogram is just spot on!
lOVE YOUR WORK AND PRODUCTS! yOU HAVE SUCH AN EYE FOR DESIGN.
I love the color combinations. different, but I love it.

Erin, the site is beautiful and so easy to navigate! congratulations! what an inspiration you are!
Your blog is one that I look forward to receiving and going over it very slowly, taking all the gorgeous images and inspiration in. Congratulations on your continued successes and for sharing them with us! for some reason, I cannot capitalize in my responses to you (just so you knew I was not a lazy typer! – using firefox internet
Lovely!! And, I luv that pineapple welcome mat!! franki
I’m loving the new update! I’m reading on my phone and the form and picture sizes are good for me.
The new blog is lovely, congratulations! I have several of your pillows in ,y living room. They really pull the whole look together. The blue leopard creates such a wonderful surprise and is just the punch the room needed. Would love to have a rug to start the master bedroom off!
I am using Chrome and the font is too small. google says it is pt 13 but it is reading at about an 8 pt font. the gray in the typing area is to light.
Like the “facelift” of your blog. Much more clearly.
yikes! On my iPad the print is sooooooooo tiny that I can barely see it, much less read it yet The pictures are enormous. I had to click through to the website to actually be able to read anything. Looks great on the website but I hate having to click through. Can you look at the iPad iteration? Thanks.
Hmmm, what browser are you using? On my iPad looked fine…
same thing happened in my outlook email. teeny tiny font – and for some reason, I cannot capitalize any words in my response- odd. I ended up just clicking over to the actual blog to see content in normal sizes.
Everything is beautiful Erin! Love the look…as always with you! …And Those rugs!
I adore the new layout and design, especially the new monogram. Also, so excited for your new book! Congrats!!
i am a font freak , soooo of course what I like best on your newly designed website. Are the fonts!
the new site is lovely! and very clean and easy – love it.
Love the update!!
Loving the red rug and ideas with animal prints. keep on keeping on. Great blog.
i LIKE THE NEW FORMAT. tHE PHOTOS AND LINKS MAKE IT EASIER TO ACCESS ALL THAT YOUR COMPANY HAS TO OFFER. WELL DONE!
This looks so great! Same note about the caps as above. Not sure if that was intentional?
it looks so so great!! Everything you do, I love!
congratulations! Looks wonderful. I’m wondering if it’s pissible to remove or minimize the “pin this photo” stamp on each picture in your portfolio. I found it kept me from getting a complete and fully satisfying view of each great shot. Thanks!
On my computer it’s very tiny– what browser are you using?
Love your monogram …and the new look!
Looks great! Is the font black? It looks almost grey-ish and is hard to read with 45 yo eyes!
I’m finding it difficult for my 30 year old eyes too! i FOUND THAT IF i INCREASE THE ZOOM ON THE PAGE IT IS EASIER TO READ.
Ooops and the caps don’t show when typing the comments but do when you hit post! :/
It looks amazing–congratulations!! Can’t wait to see those new projects pop up on the site. :)
It looks fantastic! Congratulations!
Love the new site! is there a way to navigate to the previous post from the current one? As I scrolled through this current post, the one that followed beneath it was from weeks ago, not the one from Friday. just curious – thanks!
Let me check in on this!!!
