I use square baskets on shelves (to break up the line of books) and stash all the less attractive stuff; like cords and chargers for all the electronics. Flat baskets to contain my husband’s need to PILE STUFF IN HEAPS and leave them everywhere. Somehow it becomes invisible if not heaped in a pile.
