If you’ve been following me on IG you know I have a country/mountain house on the brain right now. Perhaps it’s coming from a desire to escape from the rat race of daily life, or maybe it’s because I have no more real projects at my house now and oddly I am jonesing for a new one. Or maybe both. When I am in Vermont I feel like my blood pressure automatically lowers- so we have been on the hunt VERRRRRRYYYYYYY slowly for a house there. Fingers crossed someday it will come true- but in the meantime I can workshop some ideas for sure, right? Links for all this plus more- I’ll keep adding to it for sure- can be found HERE.

Warm velvet and wood, skirted/ ruffled things, some antique accents and a lot of cozy textures. Oh and I would have to finally get myself a sheep like the one I have been obsessed with since sourcing for this project a few years ago:

I feel like a lot of homes I’m seeing these days I love have this cozy, casual vibe (that or are full blown English inspired formal- complete opposite). Fall always has me leaning into my rustic side though.
