When looking to update your spring and summer wardrobe, it should include some woven accessories: from bags to sandals, earrings to sneakers! Adding texture to your outfit via natural woven accents is akin to the way we always like to layer in wovens and natural fibers into homes! It grounds spaces and outfits and looks classic and particularly spring-like! Hey, if it’s good enough for Jane Birkin, it’s good enough for me! Here are six outfits that implement different woven items, all from Nordstrom, which is a great one-stop-shop for pieces like this (and your best basics like great denim too). As a rule of thumb, I like to stick to one, maybe two, woven accents per outfit. Too many things and you’ll look like a set of porch furniture.
Casual looks that get an upgrade from some great woven accents:
Florals and wovens go together like peas and carrots! Super springy and a great mix of texture and pattern:
Slightly dressy, neutral outfits that can work for a date night or a summer cocktail event:
I hope you all have a nice weekend! I plan on going through my spring and summer clothes and doing a nice big edit (so I can make room for the things I now have in my cart after finishing this post!)

I still have my mother’s woven bag from 1968…maybe I should start using it…franki
Yeeessssss!
As always I love your style and what you pulled together. But I have to say, what’s with all the exclamation points?
Love this trend and love the pieces you selected (FYI, the Celeste cross body is already sold out :(
As an aside, do’tt you love that image from Gal Meets Glam??? I’m so jealous of Julia’s straw bag collection, especially that vintage Ferragamo which is absolute perfection.
The vintage Ferragamo is my dream summer bag!
The denim jacket has been staple in my wardrobe this Spring.
When is it okay to start wearing white jeans?
