New Years is a good excuse to get gussied up, wear some sparkles, and get out on the town (or stay in, like me). Nordstrom has a particularly good selection of party wear this year, and so they asked me to partner on some ideas for New Years outfits! I had fun pulling these together, and if I were less lazy and unmotivated, I would probably rock all of these!
And to be honest, I will wear nothing like the above. I am an avid New Years non-participater. Especially since having Henry. So here is what I would RATHER be wearing than a dress and heels.

Another great post where you give me great outfit ideas for upcoming events. Merry and Happy….
I like your look the best! It’s very similar to mine!😜
We’re staying in and doing a pajama party with the little ones (our oldest is 4), so what you’ve chosen for yourself would be perfect for our little NYE celebration.
Love the other choices as well!
I always love the looks, you create! I think we’ll be at home for NYE 2020 too. Last year we had dinner reservations, at a very nice restaurant. The food and atmosphere were far less than expected. It started with a table that rocked, due to a chunk missing out of the old floorboard, the waitress actually defined it as being “the worst table in the place”. It was only downhill from there. Its funny now, but was not so funny at the time.
Spot on as always! If you ever tire of interiors you could easily be a stylist.
I can’t remember the last time I celebrated a true NYE out (and don’t miss it). A couple of years ago my husband and I had a fancy spur of the moment (5pm) dinner while we were out running errands. No reservations needed at that hour.
Let’s hear it for New Year’s Afternoon! Celebrate early and get home and into my jammies. But all the looks are fabulous.
Avidly non-NYEer here, too. Love your selections for the stay at home celebrators, like me!
