Fashion Friday: Outfits Perfect For Crazy Spring Weather

When I was getting dressed this morning the forecast was really confusing- sunny and nice but also really windy which makes it feel cold. So I ended up in white ankle jeans but topped with a beige turtleneck sweater and pale loafers. Eliza in my office said I was dressed like Diane Keaton in “Something’s Gotta Give”, which was basically the highest compliment EVER because my life goal is to become a middle aged woman in a Nancy Meyers movie, living in cashmere in the summer and drinking white wine at the beach while discussing my existential emotional crises. I mean, let’s be honest here.
Ok, back on the topic- the weather this time of year can be super unpredictable and hard to dress for. It’s ALL about layers and the dichotomy of spring and fall looks blended into one. Sweaters can TOTALLY be worn with shorts in my book, and it’s the ONLY time of year when closed toed mules are the perfect footwear. So here are a bunch of outfits that work for those up and down temperature days!

I love a good beachy sweater… and long sleeve dresses! Also– always, always have a denim jacket on hand in the spring! A must!

The first outfit is perfect for weekends with the kids, and the second look is one billion percent right up my alley (that bag is on sale too!)

Two totally classic looks, perfect for anything. The second outfit is pretty much what I’m rocking today (my favorite white summer jeans too! And I have this sweater in four colors it’s so perfect)

I have posted before about my current obsession with all neutrals, including black. Completely adore these two looks. The dress and earrings are 40% off and the cute sandals are on sale too!)
