So I guess it’s about that time- bathing suit season! Granted lots of our sunbathing and swimming will need to be done at home or close friends and family’s houses but that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a fresh new swimsuit and coverup- in fact, the opposite! I’m waiting to see what the aftermath of this pregnancy holds, but most likely I will be ALL about the one piece this summer. I actually found way more one pieces I loved than bikinis, which is interesting. Here’s a round up of lots of options to get you started- from Target to Saks.

Andrew hates when I wear one pieces. Too bad, it’s what I’m comfortable in at this stage of my life. Having a long torso makes finding a good one a little harder (as I’m sure having a short torso does as well), so it can be tricky, but many vendors are offering long torso options now!

Of note: Suit #4 is specifically for those who are post-mastectomy, and suit #10 may be the cutest maternity suit ever.
The high waisted bottom thing is HOT right now but I find it hard to pull off myself (also, another look hated by the hubs). I really like the new longline tops that aren’t tankinis but aren’t string bikinis either.

2. top & bottom // 9. top & bottom
OF NOTE: Suits #10 and #11 are meant to be mixed and matched which I love….
Thank you so much for posting the mastectomy suit. They are so hard to find and most of the ones out there are not cute.
Erin, I have been a follower for years. But today is the last day. I read Emily Henderson’s blog post and resulting comments before my feed took me to yours. Last night my husband and I explained to our two children what a day in the life of a black man living in this country might look like. After detailing George’s death and why it happened.
And my daughters sobbed at the table.
Swimsuits and cover ups. When you and your team had plenty of time to reconsider, reschedule. Delete.
Tone deaf doesn’t cover it. White privilege is a start but only when paired with willful dissonance.
I own the number #2 jcrew two piece in navy. I LOVE it after wearing way too many one pieces to cover up stretch marks for ten years. It is my favorite swimsuit of all time!
You find great thing for us!
Thank you very much!
EXCELLENT GIRLGRIEND! I love when you do my shopping for me. As a one piece wearer since my first pregnancy, 700 years ago, I have always thought that the prettiest fabrics are used on bikinis. Which always struck me as odd since you see so little of them…
PS – I have owned #5 for several years now. Worth every penny. I wear it as a caftan with big jewelry in the summer and it’s great for travel. Takes up no room and is a great statement. Comfy too.
Please try Andie for the best fit bathing suit. Thanks
I have recommended that Summersalt suit (#1 in the one piece options) to SO many people, and I haven’t found one person who didn’t love it. It’s stylish, slimming, and you can totally swim and chase little kids in it without anything falling out. Good luck with your delivery!
So funny — #12 Cover up just arrived at my house yesterday. I look more like a mushroom than a willowy flower in it, but I’m keeping it because I know I’d regret it as soon as I send it back. We’ll see!
