Last year my best surprise gift from Andrew was a night away alone in a hotel room at the Mandarin Oriental with a long massage. I cried I was so relieved to have time to myself to rest – it was truly the only thing I wanted. This year they added a special Celadon Stone Massage in a gorgeous newly designed treatment room if you want to drop the hint to someone…. :)
I think a lot of women would love the gift of time – even if it doesn’t involve a hotel room – someone offering to take the kids for the day and leave you alone in your house?! Sounds pretty dreamy right? Not everything has to be a material item – time, space and rest really are luxuries.
