Seeing all the imagery coming out of High Point right now is making me very sad I’m not there! My schedule is NUUUUUTS these days and I just couldn’t work int he trip. But I am living vicariously through Instagram and rounded up some of my favorite images of the new goodies coming out soon! Click the link below each image to find out more from the original Instagrammer!
Everything Mark Sikes does I love.
Burled wood is my jam. This console is the one I’ve been looking for everywhere.
Green is the color of the year- and this version is lovely.
More green- this time with gilt bamboo details.
This banquette is making me excited for my new one!
Simplicity rules. Always.
My book spine turned into a desk/ console. :)
Bunny is the queen. I will NEVER tire of those lamps. Ever.
Great modern meets traditional design.
Love this lantern!
More modern traditional designs!
And bold colored ceramic lamps for EVERYONE!
I DIE for these new Mary McDonald benches in the foreground.
Glam meets casual meets classic. Done and done.
Channel tufting is the THING this season. This sofa plus those chair (oh MY those chairs) make for quite the complete look.
Matching twin upholstered beds and bold yellow benches—- aces.
Again, more traditional design filtered through a modern lens. So good.
I love the wave detail on this bedding. Perfect for a chic beach house.
I wish I were bold enough to commit to a patterned sofa.
via (shoot, forgot to save this one- if it’s your let me know!!!)
Sleek, chic and a tiny hint of light green.
Love those benches and table!
Check out the #hpmkt2017 for more!!!!
Thank you for including Century and Highland House in your round up! Sorry you could not be here, but happy that Instagram allows everyone to share in the magic that is the High Point Market design transformation! I am always in awe of what our industry pulls together twice a year here.
That green & gold dresser + the black o white console are fab.
That Bunny Williams bedroom is gorgeous with a capital G, love those accent throws so much!
I’m not bold enough for a patterned sofa either, but man do I love it!
Absolutely Delicious!! I’m coveting it ALL !!!!! Mmmmm………
I know what you mean about patterned upholstery. I recently had a chair redone, and took the plunge selecting a print, instead of the beautiful solids I admired. Mistake. It is so much easier to buy new accent pillows in prints than to have a chair redone. I am now planning a redo.
I think my favorite things coming out of Highpoint images would be Mark Sikes and Bungalow Classic.
Everything is so so so good & I think I would have to agree – Mark Sikes can do NO wrong.
xx!
Whoa…you picked out some FABULOUS settings!!! That gilt bamboo….AND, I’m not even a “green” person…and yet…*sigh* franki p.s. I SO WANT colored GRASS-CLOTH (on my ceiling…) *sigh*
Thanks for tagging one of my insta posts! It was a fantastic market just wish I had more hours in the day!
Highland House where my image was from was just the prettiest showroom. They told me their motto is “Make it pretty.” Got to love that!
Agree! Loved everything at Highland House! I posted some more photos @kandkinteriordesign
I agree! I loved the sofa in the entrance with the purples, pinks and blues. The flowers at market were to die for in every showroom. The colors were stunning during the downpour of rain!
I just realized you used my photo from Ambella – thanks for the tag. Glad you liked it!
I wish you could have made it. I would love to meet you sometime. Too busy for market is a bummer but is a great problem to have though!
Bunny is the queen but holy geez those lamps were expensive! And that striped console desk was just as eye-catching in person!
Trends this market seem to be; bright greens, more lucite than ever, 60s/70s regency, more bohemian, and cacti (yes, cacti).
Instagram @mcgrawdesign
OMG, that striped console is to die for!!!
That first one is amaaaaazing. As is that blue and white couch!

FYI, I’m sure if anyone is in the area, but there is traditionally an after-Market auction of a lot of the exhibitor samples this weekend as well. I have yet to make it out there, but have friends who say it’s a great way to get some deals on the latest designs.
(Nevermind that the poster makes my eyes cross…)

I love the look of the corner banquet, but I wonder how difficult it would be to slide into place across fabric? Maybe I’m too practical, and I should just enjoy the images!
Maureen, the upholstery is a tight fit so getting in and out is not a problem at all. Also round tables at benches make access that much easier!
