Molly, who runs my marketing/ products/ schedule/partnerships/ basically all the things, is pregnant with her second baby, a girl, and we’ve been discussing the design in the office and ultimately decided to have a design battle. :) So here are out three designs for her space, which is a rather tiny room that is currently an office. I’ll let you know what she decides to do (perhaps a combo of all of them- who knows) and post the results here on the blog!
The space as it is now:
crib // rug (available in late April) // vinyl grasscloth // chest // rocking chair // monogram pillow // sconce // side table // crib skirt // crib sheet // curtain fabric // artwork // book ledges
crib // rug (available in pink in April, other colors here) // rocking chair // pillow // changing table // wallpaper // mirror // art 1 and 2 // paint color // custom roman shade with trim
crib // rug // chest // changing pad // kayce huges painting (custom) // rocking chair // side table // sconces // sconce shades // floor lamp // wallpaper // roman shade fabric // mirror // small painting // acrylic shelves // crib sheet // crib skirt // baby blanket // chair pillow
VOTE NOW! :)
Allison’s!
Erin’s. But would love to know where the wood side table in Eliza’s board is from. Fun post. Thanks!
Eliza’s!
Also, could you provide a link to the small stool/side table on Eliza’s board?
I vote for Erin’s board! Congrats to Molly!!
Eliza’s board!
All three have elements I adore, but my vote is for Allison’s design. The Scalamandre floral is a favorite, and I like the soft blue and green scheme.
Eliza’s board!
Erin’s board. Last one
Love them all, but ALLISON’S board looks do-able and practical long term – maybe change out the antique dresser for the changing table/dresser on Eliza’s board (which seems like it would tuck into the small space better. It looks peaceful, clean, neutral, feminine, and comfortable for new parents and baby. Allison’s choice of rocking chair looks perfect, and the room could be more easily updated in the future.
Eliza! Love the botanical prints and wallpaper. The soft pink is lovely.
Erin’s Board!
I vote Allison’s! I would’ve picked Eliza’s but I’m not so crazy for that green wallpaper. They are all beautiful, though. Well done by all!
I love Allison’s board!
Allison!
Eliza’s room design
Eliza’s design has the most depth! I love the artwork and color balance!
Allison’s board with the chair from Eliza’s board. So fresh and relaxing for baby and parents.
So hard! But the art and wallpaper from Eliza’s won me over
I think Allison’s is my fave overall, but I would love a little pink added in! All three are so lovely!
Eliza!,
I LOVE the gingham and floral combo of Allison’s board – that’s my #1!
I think, in such a small space, I’d go with Erin’s board. I also like Eliza’s, but it feels like it might need to be in a larger room.
All pretty, but Allison’s has my vote!
Eliza
Eliza! The pink trim and wallpaper got me.
Allison!
Eliza’s board is my favorite!
I vote for Eliza’s board!
Allison’s board
Allison’s!
Eliza’s! The paint color seems to be inspired by the darker pink tone in the existing rug.
Eliza’s!! This is evocative of my daughter’s nursery, except I chose a bolder patterned rug, white trim and walls.
Allison!!!!
Allison’s! But change out the blue accents for the blush/rose tones in Eliza’s, with Erin’s crib.
So hard to choose! I like Eliza’s design scheme best but would ultimately choose Allison’s. I like the light, soft colors for a tiny space, it doesn’t skew gender-specific, and it looks like the space I would want to be in at 3:00am.
What a talented team you have, Erin!
LOVE the new rug on Allison’s board! Can you please tell us if it will come in a 9×12?
Eliza’s board!
Allison!!
2!

Allison
Love them all, but Allison is my pick!
Allison!
Eliza
I absolutely love everything about Allison’s board. The room will feel calm, elegant and bigger than it is.
Eliza!
Although I love elements of each board, if I had to pick just one in its entirety, I would choose Allison’s. I especially like the suggested window treatments with grass cloth on the walls and the spindle crib. That macrame crib skirt is precious and those acrylic book shelves are a great idea.
This was a great idea.
My daughter and I both like Allison’s design. They are all gorgeous, what a lucky baby and mama!
Eliza’s
Eliza for something so very different and pretty! The others are lovely too, Eliza’s has the most personality I think :)
Eliza!!! They’re all beautiful, but Eliz’s is simply FABULOUS!!!
I SO look forward to your blog each week…what I would give to hang out with y’all for a few days!!!
Allison’s board.
I would pick Allison’s, but with the beautiful floral used as a shade rather than panels, and Erin’s crib 🌿💙
Erin’s!
Allison’s. So pretty!!
Love Allison and Erin’s!! Beautiful boards and what a fun post!!!
ALLISON!!!!
Eliza
Allison’s! I love the blue gingham for a girl. And the flora fabric is exactly what I have been searching for myself.
Allison’s !
Allison’s is my favorite. I love the soft colors!
Eliza!!!!
Eliza! The wallpaper had me like 😍
Erin’s!
Eliza’s board! Love the shade of pink she chose and the mix of wood/finishes on the furniture.
Eliza
Eliza’s board! Looks so calm and inviting. Not too busy for a room on the smaller side. Also looks like the shade doesn’t let too much light in which is a big plus for a nursery.

Allison – but I hope using those amazing prints that Eliza chose. Whatever the design is, this baby is the winner!
I love Allison’s board – tranquil and timeless.
Allison’s board.
Eliza’s! Love the pink and green and those botanical prints!
Eliza’s!
Eliza!
All of them are beautiful but Eliza’s is my favorite!!
Eliza! A touch of pink for a girl is a must IMO!
Eliza’s is my favorite
Eliza’s-I’m a sucker for pink when it comes to little girls!
Eliza’s board! And where did she find that side table? I love it!
Allison’s Board is my favorite, and yours is a close second!
Allison’s! Her board may not be as eye catching but the elements are great for this small space.
Allison!
Allison’s board is so fresh and soothing.
Voting for Allison’s board.
I like Erin’s.
Eliza’s Board
Eliza’s!
Allison’s!
I vote Erin’s board with Allison’s rocking chair.
Eliza’s!
Allison’s 👍
They are all great but Eliza’s board is Amazing!!! Love the painted trim with that green wallpaper!
Allison’s board. Love the rug and curtain panels.
Eliza’s board!!
Oh my goodness, I want to see Erin’s board come to life! The gold crib with that wallpaper is just so cute.
Dang, you should have left each board anonymous because I want to vote for you just because I like you! :) But I have to vote for Eliza—love the wallpaper, little dabs of pink, and especially the coral in the art.
Eliza!
Allison! Light and calming, especially for such a small space.
Erin’s wins for me because Bowood > everything, but would swap dresser and crib for the antique dresser and spindle crib from Allison’s board!
Allison’s
Eliza’s is my favorite. It says “baby” in such a friendly, lovely way.
Eliza!
#1 – I love the light green and baby blue colors together!
Allison😍
Eliza’s but with Erin’s chair!
They are all beautiful. Allison’s is very elegant, as is yours with that beautiful crib and wallpaper. Eliza’s feels very fresh, youthful in an interesting way that I haven’t seen.
Eliza’s! Such lovely and understated calm. Love the sheep rocker!
Allison’s with Erin’s crib and rocking chair! They’re all so sweet! Molly is a lucky baby!
I love them all, but I adore Allison’s.
Allison
Eliza’s board!
Allison for the win!!! Gorgeous!
All are lovely, but my vote goes to Eliza.
Allison’s nursery design
Eliza’s 🌿🌸
Allison’s!
Eliza!
Love #3 Erin!!! Gorgeous. Your design cannot be beat! Makes me want to have a girl!
I like elements of all three! I’m probably most drawn to Allison’s, but I don’t love that glider. Also, can we talk about the existing rug?! Love it!
Eliza’s!
Erin’s
Allison’s!
Allison!!!
Eliza’s!
I love so many elements from all three boards! However, my vote is for Eliza’s board.
Allison’s!
Allison’s design
All are lovely but Eliza’s is my favorite
Eliza’s, but with the gold oval mirror from Erin’s selections.
I love Allison’s board! Looks traditional and cozy. Also, it’s timeless and can be used for the next baby!
Allison’s!
Eliza!
I prefer Erin’s design sans the wallpaper. Babies love color and geometrics. The soft colors are lovely. My question for all three boards is that can it all fit in that small space?
I vote for Eliza’s board, because it seems to mesh best with current style of the room, and so most likely would feel like the best fit to Molly.
I vote for Eliza’s board, but I would like to see the woven black out shades and Eliza’s roman’s as stationary panels!
Eliza’s!
Allison….so classic and adaptable for later.
All 3 are beautiful, but I I vote Allison’s! :)
Eliza! Warm and calming
A combination of select elements from all 3!
Allison’s board
Allison’s!
PS: Two girls is the best! <3
Love Allison’s
Erin, I love you so much that I want to pick your board and I did love it, too, but my favorite for this small room was definitely Allison’s board because the room would be “quieter” and my favorite rooms have a lot of detail but not too much overall pattern. All a matter of taste but that is my vote.
Team Eliza! (But I’m biased 😉). All three designs are lively, but I think hers is the most color saturated and playful.
Eliza’s! Love Allison’s rug and your Kayce Hughes art too!
I vote for Eliza’s board!
It’s hard to choose, but I would have to do combined elements from Allison and Eliza’s boards!
Allison’s board with your dresser and crib!
All so beautiful! I vote for Eliza’s design.
Team Allison here! I think it’s really airy and delicate! Eliza is pretty too if you use the wallpaper in only one wall but I’m not fan of the pink-ish trim. Erin’s crib is also really whimsy. But if I had to choose, the first is the way to go!
I’d pick Allison’s for overall, but love elements in each of the boards. How fun :)

Allison’s Board is my vote! But, I love elements from all of them!!
They are all lovely! My favorite is Allison’s Board-the colors are soothing, the wallpaper can easily transition, and the combination of the floral drapes and gingham bedding is beautiful.
Allison
I like yours most especially your furniture choices, the wallpaper and striped shade.
This is a tough choice! I really like Allison’s shelves, wallpaper, window treatments and bedding. And I love Erin’s crib, rocking chair & side table. The prints, paint & crib on Eliza’s are excellent as well! No matter what I’m sure it will turn out beautifully & I can’t wait to see.
I love Allison’s! I’d probably combine elements of hers and yours. Beautiful designs!
I like Eliza’s best. It has more color while still feeling calm and peaceful. I would probably swap out the chair for one of the other options that’s a bit cozier, though. You need all the cozy you can get at 3am!
I would go for a combo of Allison’s and yours! Love your crib and wallpaper, and love that vintage dresser in Allison’s!
Erin’s
(ps I’ve been eyeing Kayce Hughes’s art and recently scored two small coordinating pieces for my powder room at a school fundraiser art show, woo hoo!)
Eliza’s!
I like a combo of Allison and Erin! Love the acrylic book ledges for the small space, Erin’s wallpaper choice, Allison’s rug and dresser and use of traditional touches like the monogrammed pillow to soften up more modern pieces.
Is Eliza’s wallpaper for all 4 walls or only on one? Love that paper. And the touch of pink. I’d love to see the furniture layout for that tiny room.
I hope Molly fills us in on what she chooses in the end. It would also be fun to see a high / low rendition of the room. In your “spare time” that all working moms have.
Eliza’s is my favorite. Love the prints!
Eliza’s!
In love with all three! So lucky to work with you creative geniuses :)
Eliza’s board has my vote overall, but I would likely combine elements of all 3 :)
Eliza!
