Molly’s Nursery Reveal
As you may recall, way back last February we did a design battle in the office for Molly’s nursery (revisit the post here and see the space before). Well, finally we have some (iPhone) pictures of her space and what she did- which ended up being sort of a combination of all the boards. After I posted our design boards, I was on vacation and found this Lulie Wallace fabric that I loved and sent to Molly and she loved as well so that was the jumping off point!
She did the walls in a pretty pale blue vinyl grasscloth from Thibault (a pick from Allison’s board) that coordinated with the roman shade fabric and the Charles plaid rug from my collection (that Eliza had put on her board in another color). She had the ceiling painted by Patina Designs in a cute star pattern to look like wallpaper (the light fixture is old IKEA, but this is sort of similar). She picked the crib I had selected (only $399!) and it has that perfect vintage feel that makes this room look so timeless. Crib skirt is Serena & Lily.
These prints Molly found on our trip to Brimfield last spring of Saratoga Lake, the Catskills and Manhattan (Molly’s from NY) and framed them in IKEA frames with custom mats (a great budget friendly way to make prints look custom framed!)
Instead of a changer, Molly found this vintage dresser at Ramble Market and uses this non-slip changing pad on top. It’s a nice way to buy something that will last instead of springing on a changer that can only last a limited amount of time. This piece could go in any room in the house eventually! The mirror is from Target, the lamp is old Simon Pearce (similar here)
This Crate & Kids glider (no longer made, similar here) is small scale so it’s comfy but actually fit in this tiny room. The acrylic shelves are from Amazon, the pillow is in Sister Parish Burmese from Etsy, the small table is from Oomph Home, the art is courtesy of Molly’s son, he says it’s entitled “It’s a Bridge!” :)
This room is such an awesome example of how much you can do in a small space. I hope you liked it!

I LOVE this…this feels very reminiscent of what brought me to EOS over a decade ago; classic, chic, beautiful design that feels attainable and manageable and not over styled and a perfect mix of modern and traditional. HOW IS THAT CRIB $400??? It’s a Bridge may be my favorite part though. And that beyond serene wall color.

It’s GORGEOUS and timeless. We did the same with a changing pad on top of an existing dresser – and are still using the dresser (which was mine as a child). And nice shout-out to Keekaroo, the wonderful company that makes the peanut changer! We loved their chair as well. (Disclaimer: I’m related to the owners, but it’s still a great company!)
Over 40 yrs. ago we also had a vinyl pad on an antique dresser that we used for 2 sons. Husband built a simple wooden tray that held a bassinet mattress. It later became a Lego tray for many,many years which easily slid under their beds.
Yes to the keekaroo changer! So much better than the ones you have to use a sheet on, which meant a lot of washing!
And this nursery is beautiful! Love that the ceiling is painted but looks like wallpaper. That baby is one lucky baby!
