I am so excited to launch another cool collaboration project I’ve been working on today! I was approached by Megan and Moria Flynn, of Boston’s adorably amazing M. Flynn Jewelry, to design a capsule collection of fine jewelry for them this fall. And starting today it’s available for pre-order! (And fun fact, my middle name growing up was Flynn- my grandmother’s maiden name- so I am sure we are related somehow!)
The collection consists of two mini-collections- Les Points and Compass Rose- both including pieces that are classic, easy to wear and total everyday staples. You know, the kind of simple stud earrings you leave in for a week at a time or the bracelet you always have on layered with others on different days.
My most favorite piece? The horn pendant in yellow gold and diamonds. This was the initial item I wanted to have made, being obsessed with horn necklaces and all, but not having seen a small one done in gold and precious stones (it also can be made with sapphires, and looks AMAZING with them too!) I love how this can be layered not only with your other existing pendants, but also with the Compass Rose pendant.
My second favorite staple? The Compass Rose Stud. I love how small and delicate they are but with some interest. I used to draw compass roses on my notebooks in school when I was young and that’s where the inspiration came from (also my love for the beach and New England shore).
The dainty Compass Rose single pendant and the station necklace.
The best part, you can customize with various precious stones if one has a special meaning to you (or you just like certain colors!)
The other items in the Les Points collection are based on classic, everyday fine jewelry- like the Cartier Love collection (except not as expensive). I wanted to create something lovely and simple that was both modern and simple.
These rings (medium and thin) are stackable or can be worn on their own- also available in blue sapphire! I also thin they would make a lovely wedding band for a simple gold and diamond engagement ring!
The bracelet is amazing. So classic and so elegant. I adore it.
Some of the very first sketches I did when thinking up the collection. All the pieces are drawn in CAD by the Flynn girls and then hand made in Boston, which makes them even more special.
Of course, we have to have a party to celebrate this fun collaboration- and making it even MORE fun? I’m going to have a whole pop up shop featuring lots of different lines I’ve been working on (Jill Rosenwald, Two Penny Blue, Gigi New York) and some limited edition items made by local favorites like Felix Doolittle.
Some shots of the adorable shop! :)
I mean, you guys will DIE over the two new Two Penny Blue jackets coming out for Fall/ Winter. Marie and I are SO SO SO excited about these two- probably our favorites yet! Meet the Baxter (yes, named after the one and only Baxter Gates) and the Leopard Coat- sneak peeks just for you!!! I will be living in these this winter (probably covered in baby puke).
Hope to see you guys there on October 8th!!!!
Do you know when those coats going to be available? Are they also available for preorder?
We’re honored to be chosen as one of the participants! We too will be creating some new products and are very much looking forward to the opening celebration! (Love the coats and bracelet!)

I have that same question, do you ever sleep? GEEZ!!! But seriously folks, the compass rose really speaks to me. I have had to start over again and am sort of @ square one. And I crave direction. I want them all, too. I would look stupid in the leopard coat but what the heck! If not now…..when?
I want them all!
I’m going to go ahead and call it – 2015 is the year of Erin Gates. Seriously girl, what can you NOT do?!? I’m a major type-A-get-shit-done type of person and I’m blown away with all you do. I need to step up my game in a big way.
Congratulations! I think I need both of those coats, even if I live in Los Angeles!!
Everything is beautiful. I’m not a fan of animal print usually but that coat is to die for. It’s the perfect length on the model. Too bad I’m probably 10 ” shorter than her. Congrats on all of your hard work.
The jackets are unbelievable and the perfect edition I am looking for in my wardrobe. Will they come in petite and can I get both?
These really are so beautiful, congrats Erin!
Wow, such a great job! You are good at everything!
Do you ever sleep? Love that leopard coat!
These are wonderful! Hmm, any chance of getting the horn with a black diamond or onyx, or matte black stone?
I am sure that is possible! Drop them an email or call! The beauty of small businesses and handmade goods is the flexibility!
LOVE it all. You are so talented!!
THE LEOPARD COAT!
Agree, love the coat. And want allll of the new gold pieces! Beautiful!
Great collaboration! Love it all. Congrats Erin, Megan & Moira!
All so beautiful!! Congratulations on this collaboration!
Congratulations! It’s all so pretty –there is no way to appreciate it all just in one viewing so I will be back probably 10 times today to obsess.
