I posted this little vignette for a client’s sunroom design on IG the other day, and I’ve been so in love with it. We do SO MUCH BLUE– literally every project we do is blue- focused. And don;t get me wrong, I LOVE me some blue (example: my own house) but I’ve been a smidge bored with it lately. And so a not too far departure is green, and it’s been feeling so fresh (mixed with pale blue is amazing too if you can’t get out of the blue fog!) So just a few items rounded up today that are based off this palette of mossy greens and natural fibers and textures.

Hi! Sorry for the delay but I am hoping you can advise on the pills 15 and 16. I am going to buy the Nympheus Lily pad pillows for my sectional. It is mocha brown color (i have twin boys) and denim blue grasscloth wall paper and think it will look fabulous. Question: with the mocha brown couch, would you still pair this pillow with the mocha brown pillow shown #15? Or would you go lighter and use a more neutral color? Also, I have 3 corners w the sectional. Any advice on how many of each pillow to buy would be greatly appreciated. I love your blog posts! So helpful. Thanks again!!
Which fabric is the C&B sofa?
Loving this new neutral palette! The green is fresh and so easy to layer in other pops of color…like light blue ;)
Thanks once again for the inspiration- just gorgeous!!!
Wow can’t wait to see the end result! I love the green instead of blue for a change! Thanks for always sharing suggested links too!
Erin, I love these selections with the neutrals and greens. I too am getting a bit bored with every room done in blue. For how many years, was everything gray, now blue. I have always needed a little more color and have never stopped using green.
Love, love these colors and am getting ready to redo my bedroom. Are you able to share the fabric sources you showed at the top of the post? Thank you!
Green is lovely but I’m subscribed here b/c of your immense talent of playing with blue in such a natural and seemingly spontaneous style. Don’t stop w/blue.
The picture (#1 above is goegeous) I want it
Beautiful! So serene and peaceful, and still classic.
I’ve been in the process of converting my bedroom into these colors. The only thing I struggle with is paint colors. Too warm and the natural furniture doesn’t pop. Too cool and you lose the natural vibe. Any recommendations on colors?
Do you know if that #3 Pottery Barn pillow has a zipper so the insert can be swapped for down?
So happy – I have a new green sofa – all very fresh!
Erin, I have a design problem I was hoping you’d help with! We have a light grayish-tan sofa and am looking for two chairs to go with it. I love the look of the wooden armchairs that are so popular right now but they would be impractical for our family of four all trying to watch a movie together. Any advice on how you could mix upholstered chairs with an upholstered sofa without going matchy? Thank you!
Beautiful!
I love everything about this! I’m actually not a huge blue person but cannot get enough of greens and browns with a touch of cream and black.
Love this color scheme. But what if you’re stuck with a gray toned laminate wood flooring (rental house)? My caramel leather sofa and cream
Upholstered chairs would look great with your other picks, but I’m really struggling with that flooring. Is there a rug option that you think would help tie it all together?
I’d put down a huge warmer toned neutral rug- jute layered with a vintage Persian style or a tan and ivory pattern.
What is the name of the Cowtan and Tout fabric in the IG post? Love the whole post!
