While your shopping may be close to finished, I wanted to share some amazing home accent gifts (for yourself, perhaps, after all that shopping and prepping for the holidays) I found on eBay. Yes, eBay! Some new (they have lots of brand new items for sale), lots antique, and all interesting, affordable and unique. I love gifting vintage home items to others any time of year- it really shows that you spent time looking and also that you understand their style and interests. From a vintage book, to a tiny oil painting or perhaps a chic set of brass candlesticks or gorgeous glassware! There are so many amazing finds I’m certain you can find something for anyone on your list (some that will ship in time for Xmas too!)
eBay was a pioneer in the online vintage shopping realm, and a source I have been visiting again more often these days (in fact, I just bought an amazing leather skirt while doing this post!) Click on the images below for sources and happy hunting!
A small vintage rug is a great gift for a design lover- they can toss it in a bathroom, kitchen, hall…anywhere really, and spice up their space!
I have always wanted a copy of “I Married Adventure”— also am influenced by the cover for my next book design!
A vintage blue and white vase— need I say more? One can never have too many.
Tobacco baskets are a great accent for a bare wall where you don’t want art, but you need “something”
I have a collection of turquoise opaline glassware and it looks so pretty in a glass cabinet.
Brass candlesticks are a go-to gift when paired with hand-dipped tapers and cute matches.
A framed vintage sketch is the kind of art that goes in anyone’s home.
I’ve seen these marble bookends for sale for three times this price on other sites.
A pretty Ironware pitcher makes such a great vase.
I am obsessed with these fern botanicals! GORGE!
Leopard velvet and Peter Dunham fabric custom pillow covers- if you know the colors in someones home, pillows can be a fun surprise.
We use big, antique dough bowls like this on a lot fo shoots- great to add some patina to a new kitchen (and great to hold fruit!)
This stone bust on stand is on my wishlist- great on a bookshelf or top of a chest!
A tiny framed oil painting (cherries, lemon) for under $100– GORGEOUS!!! A perfect gift!
This is a newly crafted mirror available in 40 finishes! Bookmarking this bad boy for future client use!

Where is the blueberry from Insta?!
I love the idea of a zebra-inspired spine for EOS #2 – both books would look so good paired together! I also love the idea of a “wrapped” cover (back to front) using your original abstract black cream and white painting that’s currently available on your Insta account: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bc26VP5n8FR/
this just might be the best post yet!! Love the oil miniatures! getting them as a gift for someone special – myself :-)
I remember you discussing cover/spine design for EOS #1 and that book helped you come up with your distinctive (and often used to style shoots) first book cover. I’ve got my fingers crossed that book #2 will have leopard or giraffe print…
And the leopard print pillow … perfect for people who didn’t scoop up one of your leopard print pillows during their tiny window of availability. I love mine more as time passes and I use it in different settings. It’s always just what that space needed.
